Battle necromancers, ogres, and the demon itself!
"Captive of Fortune" is an interactive novel by Samuel Harrison Young, where your choices control the story. It's Volume Two of "Demons Among Men," the sequel to "Trial of the Demon Hunter." The game is text-based with occasional vivid illustrations and a unique sound track – and driven by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.
Continuing your journey to banish the mysterious and elusive demon, you travel to the city of Lorden, where romance and new dangers await. With new allies but even more enemies presenting themselves, the vendetta against you continues, the trials set before you leading you along a dangerous path to face your greatest challenge yet.
• Over 140,000 words
• Romance!
• Battle bandits, necromancers, ogres and trolls
• Music and illustrations to enhance your experience
• Finally confront the demon
This game has worked so far, but has started glitching at choices and won’t let you continue. Also, there seems to be no way of getting past the demon to the end. Any ideas??
Is it over?

Descent game but not as good as the first. Seems like it was pushed out to soon but the story is a good one and could be developed further. The options seemed lacking game department. Over all it was ok not a waste of time but not something you want to read when you oils be doing other more worthwhile things in your life.
Um no?

I' not sure what those other reviewers have read, but this game is massively disappointing. I've played the majority of both hosted and choice of games and this game is not up to par. The main plot line is a decent idea and if executed better, it would be great. However, this novel is riddled with grammatical and spelling errors. Not only that, a few places the scene jumps and it is unexplained. Then your character switches gender pronouns and sometimes you interact with yourself by mistake. The story itself is rather short and seems rushed. I won't pay $1.99 for this. I might not even recommend it if it were free. The best hope for this game would be for the author to explain the story to someone else and have a good writer actually put it together.
It has potential

The last was a bit simple sad to say and drawing weren't that great from the beginning but this one is much better the story does get more interesting but still needs a bit more feeling of emotions. The other part I'll have to say is the great weapon choices quite a variety indeed, I do hope the next one can achieve more from its predecessors
You can now choose a font in the Settings menu. Switch to Helvetica for crisp sans-serif text, or try the OpenDyslexic font, designed against some common symptoms of dyslexia. If you enjoy "Captive of Fortune", please leave us a written review. It really helps!
