Description
The Girl Scout Digital Cookie App is the official GSUSA authorized free mobile app designed for Girl Scout cookie entrepreneurs to bring their cookie business on the go as they take customer orders and grow their digital marketing skills. The mobile app is free to use and is designed for Girl Scouts participating in Digital Cookie. You'll need a secure internet connection when using the app and data transfer charges might apply.
Girl Scouts can use the mobile app to sell cookies to customers at a cookie booth or accept payment for orders from their customers. It’s easy to ring up an order for a customer and allow that customer to pay by credit card, Venmo, or PayPal when you are handing the cookies to them.
Girl Scouts – Check your goal progress, place a new cookie order for a customer, and share your cookie site URL via your personalized QR code.
Parents – With quick access to order details, you can manage cookie orders no matter where you are. See the latest cookie sales and approve orders on-the-spot.
Volunteers – Use the app for convenient Cookie Booth sales payment processing and tracking, as well as viewing all orders for the troop.
The app is for Girl Scouts and Troops that are registered to use Digital Cookie and have set up their sites on the website. Don't have an account yet? No problem! If your council is participating in Digital Cookie, go to https://digitalcookie.girlscouts.org/ to get started.

Users can now accept Venmo & PayPal as a payment options when processing “Give cookies to customer now” (cookies in-hand) orders via the mobile app! (This does not require any additional setup for users and all the financial reconciliation will be handled by Digital Cookie similarly to a credit card order.)

Add Tap-to-pay on iPhone PLEASE!!!
iPhones can now accept credit card payments with tap-to-pay on iPhone. See Square, Stripe, and others. GET THIS FIGURED OUT BY NEXT YEAR! Customers are absolutely weirded out by Girl Scouts asking for their “billing email” (that’s not a thing!) and using their camera to read the card number. In the age of rampant credit card fraud, this fishy business is unacceptable. Girl Scout families will absolutely love this feature if implemented well. It was announced in 2022 by Apple. GET WITH THE PROGRAM!
Also add login with FaceID/TouchID please. Like literally every other password-protected app.
Constantly irritated with site being down
I can only log in from digital cookie as a website the app completely doesn’t work I get an error every time saying “your cookie season is over or hasn’t started yet!” Which is not true!
I’ve tried deleting the app and Re downloading, I honestly am so disappointed because as a leader I cant even train my moms on using this app cause I can’t even use it!! Total let down as Girl Scouts USA puts all their faith into this app and without it we have a much harder time selling cookies. I wish Girl Scouts would invest the time into finding amazing software and coders who really know modern technology and can create a more streamline user friendly experience! And for goodness sake, a card reader!! We have to download 3 apps each in our troop plus another as leaders and we should be able to do all of that on this app.
Helps my Girl Scout!
My girl goes up to a door and says, Hi my name is Melanie would u like to buy some Girl Scout cookies!? And if they say yes and say pay with credit, IM SO HAPPY I HAVE THE APP! One day I went up the a door and someone says I can only pay with credit. So I get the app up and do all that beeswax. One day a guy actually said I only pay with credit, another girl came and didn’t have app ready so, ya. SO SLOW! But sometimes it actually helps my girl learn by me asking questions from the app. Someone who is my friend actually said that they don’t have that. My phone tots glitches. But it barely does that anymore.
