LENS V2.5 includes many new features as well as fixes from V2.0 that will improve the overall user experience. What’s New: LENS V2.5 has many new and improved functions including: more intuitive file name designations, easier and more inclusive text field operation, more comprehensive patient PDF reports, multi-page option for auto print, app remembers last printer used and improved print report margins. Important User Information: Users should update to the latest version of iOS, backup any data and delete any previous versions of the app before updating to the latest version of the app. The App has been validated with 10.X and 11.X. The App is incompatible with previous versions of iOS. Known Issues: Users with CCU version 01.00.14 should upgrade to 01.00.15 or above. Please refer to ‘Creating the optimal PDF report’ for guidance in avoiding some formatting limitations in the Surgery Text Info of the Patient PDF Settings Area. Users not upgrading to the latest App version may experience issues with Archiving to USB or adding text annotations to the PDF report if they update to iOS11. Users should either upgrade to the latest App version or not update to iOS11.

This update is for feature enhancements and improved workflow. Auto Print Functionality •Automatically print during the operative use mode as images are acquired to allow a fully printed report to be available at the end of the case with little or no wait during the postoperative phase PDF Report Customization •Expands upon the existing PDF template functionality of the LENS app •Customizable for each user, the report can include hospital logo, notes, direction and several images •The existing mechanism will be updated to provide more user driven customization options in the form of added customized fields and logos to the patient specific report as well as the customization of an optionally attached greetings page. PACS Compatibility via Integration Broker Software •Direct connection into the hospital’s PACS system in conjunction with Integration Broker V3.4 •Pull worklist data directly into the system each day to save time and minimize errors •LENS Console V2 must be used in conjunction in order to utilize this feature.
