$110 for 64GB. Purchased, came to hotel, created 5 folders and cleared photos off my IPad. NEXT STEP - critical! VERBATIM iStore 'n' Go USB drive FAILED MISERABLY. The VERBATIM iStore 'n' Go USB drive seems very confused when plugged into the iPhone 6 Plus. VERBATIM iStore 'n' Go USB drive FAILED to create a folder in which I could move the iPhone 6 Plus photos. K, thought it would be chaotic but I would settle just to move all that pictures into a non-folder loose are. The VERBATIM iStore 'n' Go USB drive FAILED to move the pictures. It went through the multiselect and select all options and presented the copying screen but that quickly disappeared. I thought maybe it will be painful but I need to baby-sit the move and move bits and pieces. The VERBATIM iStore 'n' Go USB drive FAILED there also. I flew in for a family wedding without my laptop. My iPad and iPhone 6 Plus are more than enough to cover the event. However, rush as I was, I planned to unload to the VERBATIM iStore 'n' Go USB drive which FAILED. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED.

After purchasing the Verbatim Store’n’Go, following the minimal instructions, I 1st plugged it into my laptop. A driver was not automatically installed as indicated. But, MS File Explorer had access to the drive anyway. OK. Proceed. Next, installed into iPhone 10XR. App was not automatically downloaded as indicated. Instead, a notice that the app was not available popped up. Ok. Next step, went to App Store and searched for ‘Verbatim.’ Voila! It was there. I read many of the reviews, most which were very negative claiming the device didn’t work. I got discouraged and disappointed as I had bought a similar device from another manufacturer that was a complete failure. With trepidation I decided to give it a go and downloaded the app. When I opened it, I played around with it. It seemed simple enough and intuitive. Next, I was able to create multiple file folders contrary to the negative reviews. Next, I moved a couple of dozen photos from the phone to the USB drive. Success. I then copied a bunch more. Success again! Most of the bad reviews claimed this function didn’t work. It worked for me exactly as claimed. Moreover, I was able to put the pictures in individual folders. The menu item ‘Photos’ shows all of them mixed together. But, I can see them selectively in their folders.For the next test, I plugged it into the laptop. And there were all the file folders in MS File Explorer! What more could I want?From the bad reviews, I was ready to return the USB drive. But, instead, I’m completely satisfied with the product and pleasantly surprised that it works as advertised with absolutely no problems, no drops, failures, or errors!

I paid $65 plus for this thumb drive. It was a major nightmare. Don't even read the instructions. Or what passes for them. Nothing is explained. Nothing about this product is intuitive. The website is difficult to use and offers no help. There is no warranty information to be found anywhere, and because I opened and tried to use the thumb drive, I cannot return it. The phone number for support sends you to some Middle Eastern Land and the accents of the sincere techs are so thick you cannot properly communicate with them or they with you. So far I'm still trying to reach someone to help me with the issues I have with it--my 4th gen iPad mini does not recognize the thumb drive, though the app shows that its reading the data on the iPad. Just don't do it! Don't think, well, this is what I've got now, I must press on with this. It's a waste of your time and emotional energy. Return it and get something else! Good luck.

I contacted tech support within an hour of purchase and then a follow up two hours after that on how to retrieve files (pdf, etc.) to no avail. The 2 individuals gave deeply scripted support that was English but very hard-to-understand. The accents suggested a Southern Asia dialect. The level of support would be troubleshooting for folks that are at a beginner level or new to technology. Both calls ended with something to the effect of them advising that it needed to be looked into further where a supervisor would call me back which never happened. They were nice folks but the company that outsourced is not doing the customers a service causing unnecessary frustration. Its. It fair to the customer service individuals who were equally frustrated. The app and the company’s support direction are not worthy of any stars. The only option available at the lowest rating level is one star which is far too generous.
