"To add something to your daily life without too much intrusion or making it complicated, that's what the watch is all about, and I think this app does a great job of that” —Apple WatchCast Podcast

At times, it’s overwhelming to get anything done. With distractions all around, the hardest part is getting started. With silo, you get a little tap on the wrist reminding you to focus and take breaks. Simply put, silo is a little motivator (on your wrist) silently nudging you to get your tasks done.

Focus-Break method
Start with 25 minutes of focus followed by 5-minute breaks in between. Emerging reports show that taking breaks between periods of uninterrupted focus is a healthy way to boost productivity. Having this super power on your Apple Watch, makes it even better.

Using silo on the Apple Watch lets you work in quiet spaces (library or office) without disturbing others nearby. With distraction-free mode (Airplane mode) incoming notifications are muted, so you can focus interruption-free.

Combining To Do’s with the focus-break method gives you the best of both worlds. This combo lets you avoid procrastination and knock out tasks one by one.

How it works
1. Add your top tasks of the day
2. You’ll get a reminder to start
3. Pull up your Apple Watch (or iPhone), and hit FOCUS
4. A tap on the wrist tells you when to take a break
5. Rinse and repeat

Work-hour tracking
While you focus, silo tracks your work-hours. There's nothing else you need to do. Check out your Stats to see hours worked each day or week. If you’ve added a #task to a focus session, you can track time for that task.

Apple Watch Complications
Complications are a quick way to check the session status—and take you directly to the app. Add the silo complication right from your watch or using the watch app on your iPhone.

Not working well with my Apple Watch.

Thank you dev for responding. I have raised the my rating from my original 1-star because I believe it is something with Apples software that is causing the bug. The symptom I have originally described has happened with other apps as well, not just yours.

Basically the only fix is uninstalling and reinstalling again... unfortunately it just stops working randomly and the only fix is uninstalling and reinstalling again which is a real hassle. Again this is happening with a lot of timer apps including fitness timers on my watch not just yours. The fix is always uninstall and reinstall.

My next step in trouble shooting is completely resetting my watch and downloading everything again.

*Original review*

I am getting neither a notification nor haptic feedback after the end of work or break times on my Apple Watch series 1 with IP7+.

I used to get both haptic feedback and notification every time. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling yet this didn't work.

- the way the subscription is present is a turn off. Find a way that is less frustrating to new users. I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out the features only to realize they can’t be interacted with at all. I thought the app was broken.

- add a numerical timer. I like the aesthetic, but I also like to know the exact time left.

- sync the Apple Watch and iPhone app. I set a timer on one, the timer should be going on the other. That’s the deal breaker for me, personally.

Giving five stars because previous reviews are unfair and this app is one of the better pomodoro apps I’ve tried, just dragged down by its subscription presentation and the lack of a numerical display. It’s been more than a year so an update is unlikely, but I hope you consider the above if you do update it.

One the better pomodoro apps when it works

So far, I really like this app. The look and functionality is great. But I find that I’m not getting notifications at the end of sessions. Often, I’ll go to check how much time is left in a session only to find that it ended a while ago and I wasn’t notified. :(
