Want to fall sleep and relax? So do we! Tired of scrolling though pictures and posts until it's way to late? So are we! So we made an app that we've been using to help relax and fall asleep. It's called Scroll to Sleep and it features an adorable little sheep in a boat sailing off into the sleepy sunset. As clouds pass by the number counts higher and higher. Rolling waves provide a relaxing and chill environment to let you drift away in bed, on the couch, on a train, or where ever you are. I have had this app for like five minutes or something and I started scrolling…. It’s the middle of the day and I’m yawning so hard, I’m about to fall asleep. There is one suggestion that I have: maybe a speed control. You could add it in the settings thing like you can choose between slow medium and fast, medium being a little faster than it currently goes, fast being faster than that and slow being slower than both. It would change how far each swipe propels you. I just like this idea because it kind of undoes the sleepiness if you have to swipe so much your thumb is tired. Although really I just went at my own pace swiping a bit yawning lots and oohing over the pretty sunset. Loving the dimmer options and stuff. Nice work on this one. Maybe make other landscapes like flying into the sunset over mountains or swimming through the sea or even just and some fishies like rays and dolphins and others swimming underneath you although I love the sunset so keep that. Just to change it up, night to night. Although bro, don’t use it when you don’t need to sleep, I used for five minutes and I can’t stop yawning. Ok actually leaving now I need to go take a nap.

I downloaded this app in a moment of desperation last night. I generally have a lot of trouble falling asleep, which doesn’t mix well with having a baby who likes to wake me up at 4am. I was looking for relaxing games/apps that didn’t rely on audio meditations and came across this one. I was skeptical, but started scrolling. There’s something oddly satisfying about scrolling through the scene, pulling up to each number. And magically, after 10 or so, I noticed my eyes were getting heavy. I kept scrolling, and let my eyes start to close if they felt inclined. By the time I got to 30, I was ready to put my phone down and go to sleep. I fell asleep quickly. I have no idea how it works, but this app allowed me to shut off my brain and lulled me to sleep. Thank you for making this!

I absolutely love this app & how simple it is. There are just a couple small problems I have with it.1) I wish we could turn off/on the numbers. It would help me sleep if I didn’t see the numbers. I know a couple other people don’t like the numbers, so giving us the option to turn them on/off would be helpful.2) If we could change how fast the boat went. Like it’s speed when we aren’t scrolling. That would help a lot of people. It’s not as big of a problem for me, but I know it is for others.3) Personally if we could make the screen a litter dimmer. I appreciate how you can already dim the screen. I wish all apps would do that, cause the phone doesn’t get dim enough for me. (I would just like it a bit dimmer)Other than those small little things, I absolutely love this app. It’s not for everyone, however I personally love it.

full disclosure, i asked the team at Simple Machine to make this for me because i work there. soooo, yeah, it’s everything i ever wanted. i use it at night when i want to wind down from instagram, the internet, and my wandering brain. it instantly relaxes me and i start yawning (even in the office when the team is working on it) and i even use it sometimes when i feel anxious on the train.i hope others enjoy it and find it helpful. i hope we can continue to add new fun features to it!
