It works on iPadPro and older Roku TVs

I tried numerous mirror and cast products for Roku TV and could get none of them to work with my ipad or iphone. I’m not sure why Apple keeps blocking casting to Roku apps for some reason or another. I did pay the $5.99 upfront fee and was able to get it to screen with audio within a few minutes. It is not intuitive but basically you bring up either an inbuilt app or browser. For instance I pulled up a Rumble video within the mirror app browser. make sure you connect top right icon to confirm you are casting to the tv. Then you must press the play button at the bottom of the xcreen. It started playing right away with TV audio and no noticeable audio/video sync issues. Not one hiccup so far. Happy with the app but hope Apple doesn’t arbitrarily disable it at some time like so many. For newer 4K Roku TVs, there’s the resident Apple AirPlay within the Roku TV so no need to use third party apps. Hope that helps some of you.

The free version is cool if you don’t use it often but if you stream a lot the upgraded version is the way to go. I don’t like adds and when trying to watch live sports the adds cause your stream to be delayed

The free version is cool if you don’t use it often but if you stream a lot the upgraded version is the way to go. First of all, this app just works. You can trust it to do what it is supposed to. It is a little slow when it first starts as it is trying to load the opening page and searches out compatible devices, but it speeds up and works fast once those initial connections are established. Finally, the company is responsible to customer needs and concerns. I had commented on how the app loading on the Roku was clunky and stated how I would like it fixed. They wrote back and said they would work on it and now starting the app is smooth and simple. While I'm sure I'm not the only person who commented on this issue, it is nice to know they are listening to their users.

I paid the this app and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The app is supposed to allow users to easily cast their favorite shows and movies from their iOS device to their Roku device, but I found it to be incredibly difficult to navigate. The user interface is clunky and not user-friendly, which made it frustrating to try to find the content that I wanted to watch.Additionally, I was unable to cast any of my favorite shows or movies to my Roku device. I tried multiple times, but the app kept giving me error messages and disconnected. It would connect then disconnect 2 minutes later. This was incredibly frustrating and made me regret downloading and paying the app in the first place.Overall, I would not recommend this app to anyone. It was difficult to use and did not work as advertised. Save yourself the frustration and look for a different app to use for casting to your Roku device.

At the first CAST attempt, most standard formats are intercepted. If the video is not in one of these formats, it must be processed with the second or third optimization function. Unfortunately, a popup with confirmation of the user is necessary that you already know. However, if the videos always worked at the first attempt, but now no more, this could be due to a format change of the website provider.Please also try the following options to keep the app from disconnecting:(1) Please make sure you have a stable internet connection (both your iOS device and the receiver device). Please also try to move your wifi access point (or router) nearer to your receiver device and your sender device to improve the signal.(2) Please make sure that the energy-saving mode of your phone is not activated (the battery percentage of your iOS device should ideally be above 30%). This can lead to incorrect transmission.(3) Please try to turn off both your iOS device and your Cast device completely (pull the plug) and let it cool down for about 5 minutes.(4) Please try to switch between 2,4 GHz and 5GHz wifi network as due to different conditions the different frequencies could work better or worse. (5) Please try to keep the app open on your iOS device, as some websites and videos require the app to stay opened to guarantee a playback without interruptions.
