In Pocket Jam 4.6.0, we’re introducing Playlist Management, a highly requested feature that makes organising your practice sessions easier than ever. Whether you’re a music student structuring your lessons, an instructor curating song lists for students, or a performer preparing setlists, playlists give you the flexibility to save and manage your favourite tracks in one place. Now, you can create custom playlists, reorder songs, and enjoy seamless playback, helping you stay focused on your practice without interruption.

The user interface has been rejigged to move things into clearer groups. As well, you can now adjust the pitch at cent increments.

This new update lets you tap the current playback time, the loop start time, or the loop end time to set the value using the keyboard; and search through the playlist

Fixes to songs too large to play

Fixes some edge cases relating to physically owned (i.e. not streamed) songs that aren't downloaded to the device

The UI has been made even more beautiful. The current song's album art is now used to fill the background of the entire app to make a more immersive experience. There is now a tile with the album art unblurred too. And lastly, the buttons are now even more playful.

Apple Music streaming is here! You can now add songs from your Apple Music library, and they’ll just work. You’ll be able to change the tempo, add bookmarks, set up looping, and use the speed trainer. Note that pitch changes and file exporting is not available when using Apple Music streaming You’ll now see the current playing song on the lock screen - where you can also play and pause the song The new repeat toggle in the ‘now playing’ area will let you toggle between playing through your playlist, or repeating the same song The playlist now has a ‘clear’ button When playing a loop, it will now show the current play time and the duration In addition to using the +/- controls in the pitch & tempo and speed trainer sections, you can now tap on the headings to input values with a keyboard Finally, there are some bug fixes! Imported from Files will no longer be un-playable when restarting the app. When the system’s audio service resets, the app will no longer crash

For everyone, there's a few UI improvements - the speed trainer section is now cleaner, and now when you're exporting a file, it defaults to the name of the song For the brave, there's a new Apple Music beta test that will let you use your subscription to stream songs. To try this out, head over to the playlist, tap 'Apple Music Beta Test', then tap 'Opt-In'

You can now export entire songs - or sections of songs - with the pitch and tempo adjustments applied The tempo can now be reduced as low as 25% The speed trainer will now show you the current speed, as well as adding the ability to lock the current speed for a time

Adds support for file formats other than MP3

Pocket Jam has been rewritten from the ground up to improve stability, and the user interface has been updated. No features were lost in this update.
