The McLane Delivery Tracker application allows customers to track where their next delivery is at and when it will be at the store. A combination of a map that shows the trucks location at a given time and detail delivery information that lists the delivery parameters along with the Driver’s name allows the customer to plan better on when their next delivery arrives at their store.

What’s the point...

... of this app? The only reason I’m giving it two stars, is because of its potential to serve the customer with a valuable time management tool. The app does let you know that at least your delivery going to be delivered, albeit with out the tracking element that puts the worth in downloading it. Honestly the eta time may as well be renamed to “narrowed delivery window” because of its give or take two hours accuracy. Wouldn’t it be simple to just have the 1) handheld relay to the app the 2) location of the truck when 3) the first item of a new delivery order is scanned and then 4) when the delivery is finalized and the invoice is printing to again relay to the app the updated eta?Obviously I’m on the outside looking in so I know there’s more nuance and nuisance to it all, but what’s the point of it at all if it does little more than confirm the uncertain arrival of a delivery?

The new updates in 2025 doesn’t even give estimated time of arrival. It’s great it added many new features but most important information it fails to give.

Absolutely pointless to have wasted my five minutes to search for, download and log into this app. Upon opening app and entering credentials the info listed for status and driver both listed as N/A. So basically no helpful or useful information whatsoever. For the store managers that would like to manage their time and resources to the best of their ability in hopes of a smoother work day, don’t waste your time on downloading the app. App has tons of potential to be extremely helpful if they bothered to make some changes.

Like everything else from mclanes it is a huge disappointment, I got the app to make sure I was present when my truck delivers so we can check in the driver, app said it was on time suppose to be there between 3am-5am, at 5am I called the company(app still said on time) truck was four hrs behind. App updated at 1230 pm. No truck yet. App said 830pm truck would arrive. I went home to grab a nap been waiting for the truck since 2am. At 1:30 pm truck arrived at my store! App still said 8:30 pm. The app just told me today (2 days later) that my truck has arrived!!!! Can we please get it together ?

New Multiple Deliveries screen to show past and future deliveries in addition to deliveries in progress. On Time, Delayed and Call DC statuses will now be shown as On The Way. Password popup when changing server environment will now have the password field obfuscated. Bug Fixes: Fixed issue that would cause the app to crash. Fixed issue that would prevent push notifications.
