Can't use after update

The latest update requires an internet connection. So after all these years of the original game and this one I can no longer play the game on my iPhone. The opening screen is "no connection, check your internet and try again" just keeps popping up when tap the check mark. Do not update if you want to play stand alone or on your phone. This problem along with the "level optimization " which makes it so that you can not get much better that 2/3 of previous score and never that last star. Finished all levels all worlds all stars first three. Now trying to finish up last levels even using energizers can't get to prior scores and stars.

I love this game! I have beat all the levels 2 times now. No other bubble games are as cool as this one, I wish there could be more levels, or a bubble bust 3...

I have purchased all the Bubble Bust 1 worlds and played them for many years. Just found this after not using my iPad for almost a year. Really like it, especially that you kept the music and a lot of the feel of 1. It's a bit too childish, though, bouncy and shiny like candy, and definitely easier. My biggest problem is the ads. Second ad came at level 10 and wouldn't let me close it. I had to click install, then go back to the game f ok the App Store. Not cool at all. I would pay you right now, the same as I did for everything in the first game, to get rid of ads. Let me pay for this game and I give you another star. Take out all the extra clicks and steps I have to do to get from one level to the next, make it less childish, you get all five stars. I really do like it so far.

So there are between 50 and 60 games per island and 6 islands. If you play it 10 games a day lasting 30 min total you can see you will be done with this app pretty fast. Still glitchey and you lose coins many times. I liked the bubble burst because you are playing against yourself to go from bronze to gold. It would seem more grown up rather than have the screen filled with encouraging sayings covering up the next move.
