SpaceXNow is a fan made app for the hardcore SpaceX fan who doesn’t want to miss anything SpaceX related. It is in no way affiliated with SpaceX, NASA, or any other customers of SpaceX. A Reliable, and Thoroughly Updated/Upgraded App!

I live near the Kennedy Space Center, and have been using this app to track SpaceX launches for years. This was one of the most detailed and reliable sources of date-time-details that anyone produced. Now (10 May, 2024) it has been significantly upgraded with incredibly detailed information on each booster and ship that SpaceX has flown. I’m really impressed with the amount of work that was put into this!SpaceX is a wildly dynamic company compared to every other launch provider in history. They modify everything at a moment’s notice, and it’s really difficult to know when and where to watch their launches and landings, because they don’t do public relations very well. I use this app, as well as Florida Today, and SpaceflightNow to plan for, and watch almost every mission. I recommend it to everyone! My sincere thanks to the developers and whoever maintains this beautiful app 24 hours a day!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this app but am confused about a recent starship launch date. Clearly there is a lot of excitement by SpaceX fans about when the next launch will occur. You show Starship 2 launching September 8th, which is very soon, yet there is no discussion or even acknowledgment of this on social media. My question is, where do you get your launch dates from? I ask because I have posted the launch date and it is rejected by some groups. Thank you for keeping us all up to date on SpaceX launch schedule.

Hi, thanks for the review and sorry for the late response! Launch dates are compiled for a ton of various sources. The September 8th date for Starship Flight 2 came from the weekly USCG notice as a NET date, we try to list the most accurate date or information we can find to help with planning. For Starship Flight 2 it looked like SpaceX was planning to try in early/mid September but the mishap investigation and environmental reviews took longer than they projected.

So, short review part here. This is a great app, it keeps me constantly updated and when I need it, and I love it for that. I get updates within minutes, which is very useful when I am busy and don't have the time to constantly look up stuff on the Internet.However, the Dev is not a very should I say, kind Person. In my personal experience, he is very easy to upset, and acts childish at times. Long story short, in a personal exchange between Brad and I on a server, Brad was getting unessecarily angry and hypocritical.When I pointed out this, I was promptly banned and he continued to delete my messages to hide the fact that the exchange ever took place. So, be careful when mailing this guys for support. Hopefully his personality doesn't alter this amazing app's quality. So, just keep this in mind in the future if you ever email this guy for support.

April 2018: First I'm glad you find the app so useful, after all the time and effort I put into getting it where it is and maintaining it it's great to hear feedback like that.Regarding how I (apparently) behaved on discord though, this is pretty irrelevant to the app and review, my personality isn't at all relevant, the apps support link is the apps twitter, and you can also email support@spacexnow.com both of which I respond quickly, professionally and take all feedback seriously. No one has been banned from the discord who didn't break rules repeatedly and on top of that whenever someone is banned it's the decision of all of the mods, not just me, sure sometimes people get banned rapidly if its needed, but the ban is always reviewed by the other mods and will be removed if unfair. If leaving this review somehow made you feel better than cool, you do you.May 2024: Hi, not sure if you are still using the app but as of January this year Brad transferred ownership of it to myself (Andrew). If there is any questions feel free to rejoin Discord or reach out to myself.

This app is the only thing that reliably keeps me in the loop with SpaceX’s missions and plans for the future. Super simple, mostly appreciate it for the notifications, but the work that has gone into the aesthetic is quite well done and updated regularly enough.Only suggestion is to allow the launch destinations for each flight to be clickable and link to a glossary of terms because LEO and GTO and especially the acronyms beyond those are not immediately understandable to the layperson and learning them turns a layperson into a fanboy more quickly!

Thank you for the review! V2.0 added detailed information to explain select acronyms. We are considering adding an acronym dictionary for a future release.

* Updated notification options including a new 10 minute option * Added new NET options (quarter and half-year) * Added a NET filter to allow only missions with a confirmed day and time * Added an option in settings to have NET time be the default option for displays * Reworked vehicles page to better support Starship * Stats reworked to better support devices with smaller screens * A prompt now displays if a filter is active * A prompt will now be shown if filtering results in no results * Miscellaneous bug fixes
