This app is perfect for the bridge player who wants to improve his/her playing skills. When you are playing the deal but don’t play or defend perfectly, you will get a message explanation what you should have done. You also have the option to let the program ask you questions about the play. Every bridge player should ask these questions themselves before playing a card. By answering the questions you will learn the best approach. Once you are used to asking yourself these type of questions, you will have made a big step in improving your play and becoming a better opponent. The bidding system is based on Standard American. However, the auction is always provided for you so this program is appropriate for all players. To use the app, no internet connection is needed. About Marty Bergen Marty is a U.S. bridge teacher/player/author. He is a ten-time national champion and ACBL Grand Life Master and World Bridge Federation World International Master. He retired from active competition in 1993 to concentrate on teaching and writing. He was recently voted to be the 22 most influential person in the history of bridge. Marty has been a columnist in the monthly ACBL Bridge Bulletin since 1976. He has also written 69 bridge books; two of which won the ABTA Bridge Book of the Year award. Great, but rarely works

When this app works, it is great. It asks questions to get you thinking while you play and tells you when and why you are making a mistake. BUT, most of the time, it freezes and says no internet connection available even though all my other apps work and my iPad shows I do have internet. Really needs a bug fix.

App keeps Freezing

I absolutely love this app and I’m learning a great deal from it. However, it keeps freezing up whenever I turn it off and try to get back in. It used to take a couple of tries, but now it takes about 10 tries to get back in. Would love to recommend it to my friends, but not until this problem is fixed.HELP....... I deleted this app because I couldn’t get back on it, with the intention of re-installing it. Now it doesn’t recognize that I already paid for it. What’s going on here? Please rectify.

I absolutely love this app and I’m learning a great deal from it. However, it keeps freezing up whenever I turn it off and try to get back in. It used to take a couple of tries, but now it takes about 10 tries to get back in. Would love to recommend it to my friends, but not until this problem is fixed.HELP....... I deleted this app because I couldn’t get back on it, with the intention of re-installing it. Now it doesn’t recognize that I already paid for it. What’s going on here? Please rectify.

I’ve learned more about when to draw trump, how and when to finesse, and even to better evaluate winners and losers in my hand. Other reviews mention objections to the questions. I learned a lot from the questioning and added these questions to my hand evaluation.

I paid for Bergen Bridge and Bid with Bergen. Several years ago I could no longer get into Bid with Bergen…I let it go. I use Bergen Bridge regularly and now I get 3 notices that say “about”. I click on it and I can no longer get the app. Just something about it so I would have to pay again.👎
