Ok, needs improvements
I liked the free version and $3 was reasonable to play without waiting for time to build to play more. Yeah you get stuck replaying old levels to earn coins (I have beaten level 9 like 15 times) I wish there was a two time speed. And now while trying to improve my towers while playing old side games and not thinking, I wish there was a enemy dictionary. The $3 bucks was fun for a week, I’ll go back to plants vs z.
Misleading
Started with the free version, it leads you to believe if you buy the pro version you get the heroes but that’s not the case at all. You have to spend more money to get more heroes. Buying the pro version was a waste of money. The game itself is fun but seems you have to spend actual money to get further in the game. Which is ridiculous after buying a pro version of a game. If you don’t spend actual money on this game it will take replaying levels multiple times to afford upgrades. It’s a shame because I enjoyed the game at first but seeing how strategy isn’t as involved as reaching into your wallet to progress kills the game for me. The fact they give you coins to give them a 5 star rating is a joke. I’d rather tell it how it is than take the 200 coins which doesn’t do much anyways.
Obligatory Rating
Game is a lot of fun but very buggy and slightly misleading on purchases. When it asks you to go pro, it says you can select from 2 heroes, and all kinds of other freebies. Not true. You lose the ads and gas, but you still have to pay for everything else. Plus, I received an ad for 50% off of an ‘unlock all hero’ purchase pack and it only unlocked a few. Not all of them. I’ve sent an email to hopefully get this resolved. They say it’s a little buggy because of the new apple update, so I’m giving them some grace. I’m here writing an honest review (they ask you to leave a 5-star review in exchange for money in the game (extortion)).
