Description

Albion Online is a cross-platform sandbox MMORPG set in an open medieval fantasy world. The game features a player-driven economy where nearly every item is player-crafted. Combine armor pieces and weapons suited to your playstyle in a unique, classless "you are what you wear" system. Explore the world, take on other adventurers in thrilling battles, conquer territories, and build a home.

CROSS-PLATFORM PLAY: Albion Online is a true cross-platform MMO experience. Whether you prefer PC or mobile, one account lets you play on all platforms.

PLAYER-DRIVEN ECONOMY: From basic tools and clothes to mighty armors and powerful weapons, nearly every item in the game is crafted by players, in player-constructed buildings, from resources gathered by players. Buy, sell, and trade at local marketplaces all across the world of Albion. Craft rare and powerful items, then sell them to the highest bidder and grow your fortune.

YOU ARE WHAT YOU WEAR: In Albion Online's classless combat system, the weapons and armor you use define your skills, and switching playstyles is as easy as switching gear. Test out new equipment anytime and change up your weapons, armor, and mounts to suit any situation. Hone your character’s skills by crafting new items, or by simply using your favorite equipment.

PREPARE TO FIGHT: Test yourself against other adventurers in high-risk, high-reward full-loot fights. From solo to small-group to large-scale battles, you'll need strategy, tactics, and skill to prevail. Level your combat specializations, create unique builds with complementary skills, and use every tool at your disposal to emerge victorious. Enter the Crystal Realm and fight 5v5 or 20v20 battles for massive rewards.

CONQUER THE WORLD: Join a guild and carve out your own piece of Albion in massive open-world battles. Claim territories for access to incredible resources, construct guild halls, build Hideouts, and track your progress against other guilds worldwide on the leaderboards. Join a City Faction, climb the ranks, and take part in continent-wide Faction Campaigns.

PUT DOWN ROOTS: Claim a city plot or private island and make it your own. Grow crops to sell or make into food, raise your own livestock and mounts, and build crafting stations for private or public use. Stock your house with custom furniture, trophies, and chests to store your growing collection of loot. Hire and train laborers to keep everything at your homestead running smoothly.

FACE DEADLY FOES: From small scouting bands to massive bosses, the inhabitants of Albion’s open world await your challenge. Take on six different factions, each with unique enemies that require their own strategies. Partake in solo or group Expeditions, or seek out the ultimate thrill by facing demons and other players alike in Hellgates and Corrupted Dungeons.

EXPLORE A VAST WORLD: Explore five vivid biomes, where you can gather raw materials for crafting or cast a line into Albion's waters to catch fish. Seek out solo and group dungeons with powerful foes and lucrative rewards. Enter the Roads of Avalon to discover ever-changing paths between distant zones, and explore the Mists to encounter rare creatures and lucrative treasures.

I have been looking for this game

I found Albion online off of adds, and somehow ended up downloading it. But it’s the type of game I have been looking for for awhile now. I only recently started playing, but it has the right skill level, where things aren’t too easy right off the bat and you can’t kill anything with one hit (which I’m assuming will change with upgrades), but it’s not necessarily too difficult either, and I haven’t needed to worry about dying, since there isn’t many penalty’s unless your in certain areas.
I like that the game doesn’t have any sort of class system, so I don’t need to worry about picking a good class, and if I get bored I can always change my mind later. Because there isn’t any main storyline, I don’t need to worry about blocked off areas or finishing a quest that I find boring and slow.
I admit that the market system was a bit confusing at first, but then I realized that the market is just massive, so you need to know what type of thing you are looking for before you search (at least with the public market, shops are easy to navigate.)
I highly suggest downloading Albion online if you want a non-restricted rpg experience, where you don’t need to fight if you don’t want to, can work towards any goal with as much content as adventuring has, or are like me, and like the small details like walking slower if you carry too much (which can be helped with fairly easily attainable mounts).

Albion online choices

I love how there are so many different classes and areas you can go down that are low risk and you can still progress in the game. Of course doing the higher risk higher reward(black zones) is great but you have the chance of losing everything. However you don’t need to do it to progress. On top of that you can play so many different sets and I love how the tier system works allowing you to run the same set just lower tier and slowly upgrade it into 4.1 into rebuying a 6.0 then upgrades to a 6.2 for instance all the way up to 8.4 which in my opinion is great for practicing the set before you play it in black and red zones. You also have hellgates which are so much fun along with corrupted dungeons both can be lethal and non lethal which is a great idea letting the person choose if they are willing risk what they have to maybe get something better or something more. Then you have things like normal dungeons and group dungeons that you both can do with a group solo dungeons being able to solo but can be fun to run with a friend. You also have arena which is another thing that is just great for pvp practice in larger groups without the worry of losing your items as long as you do non lethal.

Awesome game! But not so great community

Really loved how you can be who ever you wanna be and how you get to take part of the market. However, the community is not quite as I thought. Must of the time you’ll see people criticizing your build and guild members making you feel like you’re part of the guild without the companionship/fun part and just make you do stuff. At times you’ll find a lot of hackers where you would normally go to loot. I have around 4 days worth of playing it and this are some of the issues that I and a handful of people had to deal with. Despite all of this, I really loved this RuneScape game style tbh. Though there’s a couple of things that you shouldn’t even try to do because of the bigger guilds and the veterans who started since beta. At the moment, it’s a waste of time to spend time crafting equipment or buying a store because of the cartel that exists in the game and the bigger players trying to run any kind of business out. The way you progress is very satisfying. It follows this ideology that practice makes perfect which really suits it. You will try to specialize on your equipment slowly while you unlock new tiers or rarity of equipment that you can equip. Wouldn’t recommend playing solo. If you’re playing with a handful of people, stick with them and don’t interact with others since there have been cases of people joining groups just to tell the assassin where you are.
