kinda sketchy

so really long time ago i downloaded this game because people were talking about it online and it was more of just a joke, since the app was kinda goofy so i downloaded it. i mean it’s great for younger kids/toddlers because it’s not like over complicated and it has lots of numbers and letters in the app that they can play around with. but i think it’s a little weird to have camera and microphone access. especially since this games intended audience is like 2-5. like some people might download this for their young children and leave them with the app to play with but right when opening the app it will ask for your camera and microphone access to see and listen to you. a 2-5 year old won’t really know what allowing camera and microphone access can do, so they could click yes and the app would be able to see and listen to them the whole entire time they are playing with the app.

it also kind of weird because the app is just tapping numbers that allows you to call animals for fun, so why would they need camera and microphone access enabled in order to do that? especially since it’s just an image of a random animal every time and random gibberish for 5 seconds and it hangs up. there’s not really any reason it needs to see and listen to a young child. 😬 but i guess as long as you disable it the game is fine overall.

Hi! We appreciate your interest in our baby phone and would like to clarify that the camera feature is utilized solely to simulate a realistic video call within the app, allowing children to engage with our content in a more immersive way. Please rest assured that no videos or images are recorded, stored, or transmitted during this process.

This is the best thing invented since sliced bread 🍞‼️These animals be making me cracking it up. Anytime I need to call 911 for an emergency they are so helpful and quick to answer best costumer service I’ve ever experienced!!!!! Baby’s phone has me and my family rootin and laughin and tootin and cracking it all up 🗣🤣‼️it literally sounds like popcorn is being made in the microwave as I write this review. This app makes me feel like I’m fresh out the womb again. Thank ya lawd. As the green frog said: 🐸 Ababa laba da da hehehe

Not bad

Overall it is a nice application. The problem is that it tries to become a game. When I, like a parent, downloading this for a child, I expect that the child will “call” imagine friends and talk to them. This app when the “call” button is pressed, shows some funny picture for 10 seconds and “drops” the call. So a child cannot say anything. When kids play with any random thing imagining it is a phone, they spend many minutes talking. This app cannot even provide the same experience as a printed picture because a child is pretty sure that the call is ended and there’s no sense to speak.

Instead, the app suggests some kind of a gaming experience. But I don’t need yet another primitive game, there are millions of them in AppStore. I want my kids to simulate a real talk from the real world, not to look at the screen all the time with no brain activity.
