Installed this app, didn’t wanted to use eSewa. Tried to do kyc so that I could link my bank. The KYC didn’t go through, so tried a couple of times. Also texted customer service via whatsapp, but they were of no use. Always got the same message to upload another picture, tried 5-6 times but never worked. Another suggestion, if you guys can’t communicate properly in English you can always use Nepali language. The generic message “I got was Your KYC at Khalti could not be verified.Please resubmit a clear photo of yours for verification.Please change your document as the photo in the citizenship seems to be attached separately.”

I had been using this app for the past few months . And this application was well rounded and just made my stay in nepal a bit easier . Few days back when i decided to stay in the country for a longer time i changed my phone number . And i have been trying to update my phone number . This has proven to be a nightmare. I have sent multiple emails with all the details that were asked i have called 7-8 times but to no avail . This has really tarnished the application. Could you guys look into this . Because the app is only as good as the customer support .

I believed they were the real competitors of Esewa until they showed their real face today. I paid for 5 tickets of Arijit Singh concert on August 16(35 days earlier) but they neither sent me the tickets nor my money. Now they are messaging me that either I have to pay again or I can’t get the tickets. As heard, many others are facing same kind of fraud issues with Khalti. Everyone please be careful before making your transactions with them. Never thought fintech companies from Nepal are involved in such FRAUD business. Pathetic!!!
