The app overall takes quite a while to open compared to the average time it takes to open other apps. This is across multiple models of the iPhone. This results in a longer time to buzz open the door which some could mistaken as the resident not being at home. I dislike making guests wait, especially when it’s package/food delivery workers. The app definitely needs to be optimized better to open quicker and be more responsive. When I get a call through the intercom, the notification will show on my phone, but once I open the app, the video intercom doesn’t show and I can’t open the door because it no longer gives me that option. The person could buzz again but the same thing will happen which forces me to go downstairs to open the door manually and completely defeats the point of opening the door through my phone. Most of the time it doesn’t work, on some occasions, the application will function as it’s supposed to but the inconsistency is unacceptable and stressful.

community has tried to use this system - it's a joke. most functions within the app don't work, and tech support provides no support. Regular answer is "we're working on that problem" - with no improvement.

There are so many flaws with this thing, I don’t know where to start. The interface of the intercom is counterintuitive and often freezes, creating lines at the door as visitors get frustrated and confused. Delivery drivers often just give up and walk away. The microphone on the intercom is essentially non-functional, so, if the app calls you rather than showing video (which happens often) you have no idea who is at the door. The app is slow and crashes often, leaving people waiting at the door with no way to let them in. If the internet goes out, good luck getting into the building. Just last night, I got stuck waiting outside the building for 40 minutes while the intercom processed a system update. I was completely locked out until it finished. I was told that someone would be “dispatched” to let me into the building. Nobody came. This app is meaningfully worse than a simple intercom button on the wall of your apartment. I hate this app and the accompanying intercom so much.

I wish my building didn’t use this system. The concept is a good one. When the app works as intended, it’s a convenient product. You can buzz people in from your phone no matter where you are. But it often doesn’t work. I’ve lived here for 2 years and it’s still a tossup as to whether or not the app will work each time. And let me be clear even when it does work, there’s still a weird lag but at least you can open the door, see who is there,etc. Currently, when I try to open the door, I’m met with the logo screen and then the app exits. I’ve just resorted to asking ppl to please call me so I can come down. Completely useless. If you are a landlord or property manager, LOOK ELSEWHERE, but if you insist, then get assurances about the tech and improvements or be prepared to get complaints from your residents (rightfully so)…
