It was not lost on me that this app was using Dark Sky, which shuts down this month (December 2022). I had been curious if I would need to purchase a new app here. I am happy to see the creator took the initiative of finding another weather service provider. For *that* reason, I say this app dev is a good guy. I would support more apps from this dev because deciding to freely make that update demonstrates exemplary integrity that other app devs have occasionally not shown.
Great App!

I’m a bit of a space nerd and this fits me exactly. On top of being a space nerd I live in the Seattle area and being that far north we have very short winter days and very long summer days. I love this app to keep up with how long the days will be, sunrise and sunset times. It always gives me hope in the depths of winter and 8 hours between sunrise and sunset that more daylight hours are around the corner. Thanks much.
Widgets do not work no instructions on app
kikkichiki
I’ve used many widgets in the last year so I generally understand how to use them but this app literally does not show up as an option to use as a widget. There are no specific instructions in the app telling you what you might need to do or giving you steps. Which might be fine except that it does not show up as a widget anywhere. I’ve clicked on the plus to add it as a widget but the app doesn’t show up in the list. I’ve turned my phone on and off and uninstalled and reinstalled it and it never works. I would love to use it I even paid for the pro version… but just. Doesn’t show up.

I just downloaded this app today and I am looking forward to using it in the days to come. There was only one thing I felt was missing: an indication on the calendar when the solstices and equinoxes are occurring. If that was put in place on the next update, it would be perfect!
Developer Response
Absolutely! Will add this in the next update. Thanks for the suggestion 🙂
Fix for a Daylight Saving Time issue where the sun graph could briefly dip.
