The Ace Retailer Mobile Assistant is designed exclusively for Ace Hardware retailers to improve the employee experience by giving them quick and easy access to information while reducing steps and clicks. The app provides mobile capabilities to search, evaluate and order product, manage customer and store orders, receive/sort/put away deliveries, and more. Additional app features: • View item information by scanning or entering a SKU or UPC and confirm available quantity by store and RSC. • View Item sales and purchase history. • View item level Ace and store pricing information as well as competitor pricing (when available). • Build a basket for multiple items or quickly submit an “Express Checkout” for easy ordering. • Enable “multi-store” for easy ordering across chains or a subset of stores within your chain. • Enhanced landing page with store and multi-store selector. • Static footer for easy access to the Homepage and Shopping Cart. • Fulfill Customer Orders to progress acehardware.com orders from anywhere in your store. • Create Custom delivery routes for all orders placed through in-store or Hardware.com. • Look up Acehardware.com or in-store orders by last name, order number, or phone number. • Complete delivery and capture the proof of delivery by taking a photo or customer signature. • View delivery routes through a map view with delivery markers for all required deliveries. • Ace Convention section provides all showing ordering options. I constantly get the “spinny wheel of death” when I’m help customers on the floor. I know better but out of habit I grab my phone to look something up for a customer and the app crashes when I click on a sku listing. Really annoying as I’ve been trying to train a few new associates on the app and it’s not functioning most of the time. Some features (I think sort and segregate) work sometimes but I can’t recall at this moment. PLEASE FIX FAST! iPhone 13 pro automatic updates here. Been a problem for 2-3 weeks now.

The fact this has less than a 4+ rating to me is baffling. When you compare Ace to any other brand in this same industry, they are hands down leading the competition. Could it be a little better, sure! Is it light years ahead of True Value, DIB, EJD, Orgill or any other supplier in the independent hardware chain, Absolutely! Well Done Ace, we just moved here from 30+ years with another supplier and these guys have provided a product that makes you significantly more efficient within your store and also helps the customer experience. Focused on technology in 2025, what a novel thought!

The most useful tool I have after our conversion from True Value to Ace. Search engine could use a little better filter (like by fineline) but it’s good enough to get you close. What I love is that our Epicor communicates every night with Ace’s system and give you QOH, Loc, and cost. This is very useful to us after we converted and remodeled to help us get closer to our product that we KNOW we have, but are having difficulty locating. It’s a great benefit also when checking prices or doing a quick rain check order for your customer so that you can’t forget later. Love this app.

I’d like to have a refresh button for QOH. I’d like an easier way to navigate going from online orders to being able to scan a product on the shelf. I’d like to see replacement SKUs on this app. I’d like to have an option to turn consecutive scanning on or off. Sometimes when I try to scan a barcode, it doesn’t work so I have to type a SKU in and in that case I have to go through extra steps and wait for loading to cancel the barcode scanner to get to where I can type a SKU in instead. Rating freight deliveries crashes when I try to take pictures of poorly packed Omnis and try to submit. My app will crash. A copy of the green bar or manifest on this app would be a game changer. A section to create personal lists that only I can see instead of my whole store being able to see in the shopping baskets. An option to add a SKU on back order like you can on the website. A way to check stock reserve and delete stock reserve like on the website.
