I use this app all of the time! I can’t tell you what a convenience it is to be able to cool the car from inside of a store! When it gets over 100 degrees outside, it is so nice to be able to get into a cool car. I also love the way the app reminds me if my car has been left unlocked. I have had this happen multiple times when unloading groceries or loading for a trip. It’s wonderful to get a reminder that the car is unlocked and to be able to correct the problem without having to go outside.Lastly, it is really convenient to be able to lock the car and then turn on the air if I need to dash in to a business and leave my service dog in the car. I can be assured she is safely tethered in the back seat and the car is locked and cool.

New Update JUNK!

Have had this app for the past 5 years and it worked ok but not consistently, but was still worth keeping though in my mind. Now the newest version update is about 4 weeks old and doesn’t work correctly. The last 2 renewals I have done I have had a problem. Last one the app did not work for about 3 days then was ok. This time it won’t start the vehicle, lock or beep and flash. Have tried the reset steps, removed and reinstall the app, been going round and round with the customer service. Sometimes it updates my journeys, mileage, locked status etc and other times it says the telemetrics is in sleep mode and to refresh the data start the vehicle. Customer service was at one point telling me my TCU might need to be updated. I’m not buying that at all. Why was the app working fine up until the new update. Let alone I would have to go to the dealer to get it looked at and that would be at least $300 then whatever charge is to supposedly update it. I’ll take my $120 back.UPDATE.. After a week they got back to me stating it is my TCU needs updating, BS… the app worked fine before this last update.

I love the conveniences of the Jaguar remote app. This is the first car that I’ve had with the remote start and boy what I was missing. This is a great feature to have in the Remote app. Makes it very easy to start my car during those extreme cold and hot days. I love the fact that I can lock my car and unlock it from anywhere. It proved to be a handy tool when my husband and I were both traveling on different days and wanted to leave the car at the airport. I literally opened my car from Texas which is hundreds of miles away I love this tool.

I love the conveniences of the Jaguar remote app. This is the first car that I’ve had with the remote start and boy what I was missing. This is a great feature to have in the Remote app. Makes it very easy to start my car during those extreme cold and hot days. I love the fact that I can lock my car and unlock it from anywhere. This app is very convenient…When It Works! A lot of times it does not connect well when trying to startup the vehicle; It lags. Also there are times when my car starts but on the app it says that it has not connected, so I would have to go outside in the cold at work to actually turn my car off, after warming it, since the app is not detecting that it started. For the amount you have to pay to keep the subscription on this app, it needs to be A LOT better than it is..It needs a better update! And it seems to connect only when u are real close to the car for it to connect well, compared to other “lower grade” vehicles that automatically comes with auto start and other features and has a greater distance away from the vehicle but still is able to connect properly. Jaquar needs to do better!
