Great to have

I can’t stress how great it is to have this app. On numerous occasions I have forgotten my key and have gone to my car. I’ll quickly remember to use the app to unlock my vehicle. I’ve also have forgotten to lock my car and I’ll use my app to lock it in case I don’t want to walk all the way back to my car. Also, on one occasion I saw someone too close to my vehicle and I used the horn and it scared them off. I was so happy to be able to deter them immediately from doing anything even remotely suspicious.

60k car- .99 cent app

The old app actually worked. Press the start button and the car would start within 5 seconds. On the new app press the start button or any button for that matter it just spins and then says could not start the car. Nothing works! Also- The location is at least 50 ft off. How can you release a app that does not work!?!? 😠

To add insult to injury the process to add the VIN number was ridiculous. Took me 30 minutes to get it submitted. Then had to wait 3 days to get approval only to find out the app does not work. 3 days!! This is a lifetime in the digital age!! Plus I am paying monthly just to use a app that does not work!! 😡 Going be blunt, if I did anything this shoddy at work I would be fired!

But wait there is more!! Winter is almost here and my wife uses the app. Do you realize what I will have to listen to if she has to get into a cold car?!? Seriously!! Fix the app or I am done with Infinity! 😡

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with INFINITI. We apologize if there were issues related to adding your VIN, as it seems this step could have been skipped in your situation. Users of the previous InTouch Services App can simply log in with those credentials and avoid creating an entirely new account. INFINITI retailers also activate new accounts during vehicle deliveries, bypassing any ownership verification period. We'd like the opportunity to connect directly with you to better understand, help address the issues you may be encountering, and to assist with any lingering account issues. At your earliest convenience, please text our support team at 615-675-9331. We're happy to help!

Solved - Infiniti Remote Start Problem

Some users including myself have experienced a problem with the remote start functionality in the recently upgraded app. Basically, when you press the start button the app asks for the car VIN #. When you provide and validate it, the app will give an error message indicating that the VIN is mapped to the same user.

Solution. Do not press the start button directly in the center. Instead press slightly offset below the center of the button. You may need to experiment a bit. But, this has worked every time for me.

The app appears to have a flaw so that pressing the start button directly does not register correctly. The other function buttons do not have this issue. An update is needed to fix the problem.

Developer Response ,
