Contact Groupist is a minimalist utility for creating and maintaining lists of contacts. The lists will appear in the iOS, macOS and iCloud Contacts apps. Contact lists can be used (among other things) in conjunction with your iPhone's Do Not Disturb feature; see "Allow Calls From" in the Do Not Disturb section of the Settings app. Contact Groupist is intended primarily for users whose default Contacts account is either local to their iOS device, or in iCloud. Not all Internet accounts support contact lists. Feedback is welcome: email support@lobitoscreek.com

I wanted to re-organize my contact groups. This app made it easy. I best part is the ability to manage a contact’s groups from anywhere the contact is visible. This is done by tapping to add or remove the group from the contact as though it were a tag.

If you use the built in Contacts app on iOS and want to organize your contacts into groups, this app is for you.It’s a one-trick pony but does that trick beautifully. It fills in a glaring hole that the built-in Contacts app overlooks.
