It is great for it’s simple function that provides but The App Store needs more markdown apps

This doesn’t work as a "simple distraction free experience" to me. If you’re describing your app that ludicrous way are you setting your expectations to be simple? How about a simple writing app? is this a simple writing app with rich text? Isn’t that what markdown is? Every developer and their cat … no their cat would get it- every developer and their brother seem to think Markdown is a huge ask, but I’ve been using the Native Apple Notes for years and it’s a simple thing. I would still be using Apple notes, but for a corrupted file and crashing notes, so I am in search of “simple“ notes. Nope. This isn’t simple. I can’t use basic formatting like bold text, strike through, underline, italics… these are the most basic options. You asked for a review before I’d used this absurd app for 10 min so here it is. Is it worth trying for 15 minutes? I don’t know. I don’t know where to go for formatting help. Rest assured this isn’t the only bad app-even those that are said to be glorious & wonderful aren’t. I’ve had conversations with “she who lives in the speaker“ and “she who lives in my devices". They don’t know any more than I do, and they make things up.

I like this app. I really do. I like the aesthetic, the simplistic font and taste of it. But something about it’s so bare. Like a default apple app. I think there’s so much more you can add to it. First of all, I would add some instructions. I have no idea how to navigate the app, it totally left me clueless. I don’t know how to make a new folder, how to organize my documents, it’s a mess. I’ll keep using it for now, but I just wish it had a little more accessibility; maybe something that allowed you to make an account and customize your folders, too.

Love the simple interface and easy preview button. Missing ability to open iCloud based files. I take notes from my computer and sync them on iCloud. Would be great to be able to open/view these for easy reference.
