The Taper Offset Spacing Calculator is a tool for custom fishing rod builders who do cross wraps. Enter the size of your rod (butt and tip diameters where the pattern will be wrapped) and the number of pattern repeats, and the app will calculate the spacings or initial crossing points for your pattern.
This app uses the Taper Offset Spacing algorithm to adjust for the taper of the blank. This is important to ensure that your cross wrap pattern closes nicely.
