A worthwhile app with a great concept, but major glitches - which have not proven to get any better over time. Very frequent freezing or stopped feed makes it very difficult to rely on this app to stream games on a consistent basis. The camera angle is also very far away in many rinks, so it’s not always clear. The #1 issue with LiveBarn is lack of dependability. One moment at one day in one rink it works at a facility. Then suddenly it doesn’t work. And there’s no partial refund for the month when this happens consistently. The only option is cancelling your service. So it’s a granola each month if it ends up being worth your $25. Customer service is fast to reply - but they always blame the venue or customer’s devices and WiFi - even when it’s mostly always a faulty issue on their end. Often times, customer service goes MIA when you troubleshoot according to their directions and it still doesn’t work. This is disappointing, and you just have to wait and hope for service to come back. Unfortunately, it’s a well thought out concept, but just doesn’t consistently work. And for the price (recently raised from $20/month to $25/month) and without improved quality or dependability, It’s a cool app ….when it works.

Beware of BAD platform and “TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES” when subscribing. I had an old account from years prior that was not subscribed and when I last minute needed to resubscribe due to not being able to make it to my sons weekend tournament due to a family emergency, I logged into my app which then took me to the website to resubscribe. I logged in finished the subscription but didn’t realize I was under an old account (not the same as the one logged in the app) so after completing, I went back to the app but there was no subscription. I tried closing the app and website to refresh, still nothing, so then I thought maybe it didn’t go through and tried again, this time under the account that was logged into the app originally, finally it worked. Days later I realized I subscribed on 2 different accounts. When discussing with customer service the issue I had, they did not care and said it was my fault. That all being said, MOST IMPORTANTLY, when I went to watch my sons games, there were “technical difficulties” and I wasn’t even able to watch the games that I specifically subscribed to watch. There was no recording either. What’s the point of offering a service you can’t provide??? Robbing from people left and right and customer service doesn’t care.

We signed up for the basic subscription to watch one of my son’s games. It was $23 and when we went to watch the camera was down. Come to find out it had been down for around 10 days. Since we literally signed out to watch one game, I requested a refund. Was met with Willingness to cancel my recurring subscription, but not refund the month we had paid for. We had planned on using this app for future leagues and games to watch the games that we will miss because they are too late in the night. I replied and reiterated that we purchased the subscription to watch one game. Asked for a refund again. Was met with “our policy is to not refund.” And it’s listed on our app/website. If you subscribe make sure the camera you need to access is up and running. Also, don’t expect a refund of something goes wrong. Once you pay you are committed for that month. Great way to keep the funds from short term subscribers that might request a refund after watching a game, but unfortunately might upset the people who are honestly having difficulties and could potentially be long-term subscribers.

We have purchased live barn for quite a few years, for streaming on two iPads. We only use one now , because my husband cane see. Well we’ve never really had a problem with tge until this year. Starts off ok and pretty soon audio is gone and a few seconds later the whole stream is frozen. I tried watch a hockey game of my grandsons this morning and if I got to be able to watch three minutes of the three period that was lucky. I keep telling them and nothing is being done. I’ve done everything they’ve told me to do. Now this afternoon I watched another grandsons hockey game at a different place. Worked perfectly. That would seem to me that it is NOT my device. We never had this problem in the past years with this on these devices. So I’m literally paying monthly to hope I get to see a game. Anyone else have problems with this. We also watch basketball and high school hockey on NFHS. They don’t seem to have trouble for streaming with my iPads. I wish I could get all youth sports to drop live barn and go with some one that works and takes care of issues when there are issues!
