The upgrades (if you have been here from Day 1) are impressive. I recently had cause to use the app that Sagicor provides and the difference is monumental. With them I had to be reaching out to my clients asking them to send me proof of payment while with NCB it states the name of the person who makes payment. NCB breaks down your statement in 3: Incoming payments, Outgoing payments, All. And states to whom exactly it goes to or from. You can 💅🏽 open a bank account from the app💅🏽transfer funds to others💅🏽pay bills to merchants 💅🏽see all your accounts including investment accounts, loan accounts, the balance and the duration (start and end date)💅🏽you can transfer local funds to your USD account and it is converted real time💅🏽add/edit payees (to pay bills to) and💅🏽add/edit beneficiaries (to transfer funds to) Amongst other things. And the improvements keep coming. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ recommended

I don’t usually leave a review but I think I need to in regards to international customers. I think you should stay away from this bank, if u want to keep off heart medicine the. That is the logical choice. The reasons are as follows: 1. Opening a bank account in the island is difficult, I moved from chair to chair just to open an account. Not to mention me needed a guarantor ie someone with an account there for me to open one. They asked for everything, I almost thought they would need a blood sacrifice. 2. When I finally got the account, returning home to the us to use it was like pulling teeth. The app lacks the basic functions like transferring from my us to ja account. That was a deal breaker. 3 logging into the app was another thing. On a good day after getting tokens and giving the deed to my house(sarcasm) and I finally got in, the app didn’t work. Starting the process again was so painful because the app they use to get a token didn’t work all the time. 4 customer service is JA is a joke, try updating your information… working! Can’t be done online or over phone. They wanted me to come in!!!!! I don’t even live there. Can my guarantor update it for me, not unless I’m there. Arrrrrrrrr okay let me do it online! Can’t be done. I need to send a letter in signed by a JP / notary public. Listen, if I can’t do basic things like that over the phone or online..in 2022..you can keep that. This bank is just as good as if I was playing house with my daughter and she takes my money and puts it in her pretend cash register.

Good design but I think with the increase in revenue I am wondering how and why this multimillion billion bank not using international stander and still cradling to the antiquated technology things that need to change :1. Visa debit (not everyone need to be chained to a credit card with annual fees)2.reliable customer service (why saying youboffere 24/7 banking and you will not get a customer service rep pass 7 pm and if you do their department cannot assist you I think NCB need to outsource these areas with different time zone and person who have the skilled and knowledgeable about the services being offered to reduce long wait in line an on phone to do simple banking )3. Making online and app usage more used friendly eliminates token this was a wast of investment. I didn’t take it with me to the states and was told by a customer service that I order to go online I need to fly back to Jamaica to get it and hand it in .

I’ve been using this app ever since it launched waited two years when it finally came out it delivered on the minimum viable product. However, I think there are more improvements to be made especially with overseas access. While the app itself is on a good track, I find out the customer service services part on the app doesn’t work as well as I expected it to there is no login of records. To ensure that your conversations are safe I would suggest doing screenshot or video recording using it I’ve had a very unfortunate encounter with NCB. On more than one occasion luckily I had proof and I was able to retrieve my money after waiting several months to be exact over four months for a refund and a purchase made.
