At JPL Tech, we are committed to learning and improving. We welcome feedback that will help us continue to develop this app to best suit the needs of our users. Our goal is to create an app that is easy for everyone to access, especially those in hurricane-prone areas. If there is a feature you would like to see, please let us know by contacting us within the app.

Great app. Convenient info all in one place.

I just moved to Florida and this is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to navigate the app and I especially like that you can turn off alerts for storms that you don’t care about - keeps the experience relevant and timely. I also like the extra info on storm categories and preparation. This app got me reading up more on meteorology and now i know the difference between a Tropical Wave and a Depression. My only suggestion for improvement is perhaps add more information pages to help decipher some of the language used by NOAA in their reporting (types of models, why some may be more meaningful than others, etc…). It’s all on wikipedia but you could add it to the app too.

Developer Response ,

Thank you so much for this great review and the level of detail you provided for others. We are always working hard to provide the most accurate and real-time storm information, while searching for ways to make the app even better. We truly appreciate your feedback and support! :)

Fantastic app!!!

I do enjoy the app, especially the way it tells me how far away in miles almost all tropical systems (exception: minor disturbances - like tropical waves) are from my physical location and their projected paths. The addition of that info would make this app even more useful.

The info the app displays seems to agree with The Weather Channel so I believe it to be as accurate as possible.
Sincerely, David Cantrelle

Thank you for your positive feedback. We are always working hard to provide the most accurate and real-time storm information. We are also exploring the addition of information on minor disturbances (before they are named storms by the National Hurricane Center), but please reach out to us in the feedback section to further discuss your suggestion. We appreciate your support! :)

Very Helpful

Being in law enforcement in NC on the coast, this app has definitely kept me be more prepared for any disaster that may come out way. Especially with limited time off, any edge to protect my family and house is a one up! Definitely worth having this app!
