Good game but ranking system is bad

I love the game but the ranking system is stupid. I was third and I beat the 2nd ranked team and we stayed the same. Three weeks later I was third we played the second ranked team I beat them 3-2 and I actually dropped to 4th

Love the game, art style, and music my only complaint is that during games it’ll crash sometimes probably somewhere in the realm of 15-20% of the time. It might be the fact I have an iPhone 6 still, but nonetheless it’s frustrating as this is the only mobile game worth my time.

How are players getting red cards and still scoring later on during a match? Why am I always blowing teams out? Team Management UI is awful, too many clicks just to sub a player and you can't see them in formation.
