Description

Days Since can help you break any bad habit.

Create a counter for each habit that you are trying to get rid of. If you are trying to quit smoking, create a counter and set the last time you had a cigarette. The app will show you how long it’s been since you smoked for the last time. Tracking your progress will help you stay motivated.

Whenever you want to smoke again, open Days Since and check your progress. You don’t want to reset that counter, do you?

most useful app on my phone!! 5/5

I use this app for a different use than what the developers had in mind most likely, but its been super helpful either way! Ive been using this app to track some medications and when
¡ last ate, similar things like that. Its been super helpful to be able to open the app and be able to figure out when i last did things so i dont take my meds to early or go to long without eating! Its probably my most often opened app on my phone and by FAR the most helpful! The reset button is very simple and i LOVE LOVE LOVE that you can adjust the time you reset it, delete resets, and my favorite feature is being able to add notes!!! its also super helpful that it averages out the time between resets, counts how many resets, longest streak, and how long its been since the little counter was created at the bottom!! its super easy to organize, name, and color each little timer thing!! its really helpful that you can choose how to order the counters, especially since there is a custom option!! the only issue i have is a very small one, the fact that there are limited colors and you cant set reminders if you dont pay, but i totally understand the need to make money (especially since it is ad free!!!) and they arent super important features, just little extra things. easily the most useful app on my phone, ive recommended it to a few friends!!!
10/10 easily!

Really Amazing App!!!

I’ve had a few bad habits that I have managed to quit using this app. I’ve said goodbye to junk food, too much inactivity, and smoking. I’ve also been spending significantly less time on my phone these days. Now I just say, like probably many people, I had reached a crossroads. So as to say, once I dropped all my bad habits successfully, it felt as if there was nothing special about it other than knowing I’m on a road to better health. For anyone who may be struggling with that, there’s a few things I’ve learned and gained in addition from just reflecting on myself and my past bad habits. Removing bad habits (addictions) allows you to live in the present moment. Admittedly, this was very scary at first. You become highly aware of your own mortality. I have learned to embrace it though and I am working on building productive habits to replace the bad habits. So my advice to you is to work on replacing the bad habits with healthy and productive habits. Because if not then you will be left with a void. You’re going to feel this emptiness. This sense of losing purpose. Keep in mind that bad habits you used to do constantly kept your mind distracted and running from traumas and such. It’s a good opportunity to face all of your traumas head on and let go of everything bad. It will be easier than you think. Don’t question the process. Just trust it.

Appreciate it, would like to suggest more.

I’m satisfied with the simplicity of this app. I’m currently using it for a sobriety counter, and would like to suggest some features that could potentially be helpful. I also understand if these suggestions are not the direction you’re going for, as I can tell by the design it’s more to be used as a simple counter/tool. Anyway, the first suggestion I had was any sort of notification-specific rewards or reminders. Something like “your ___ counter has reached ___ days, congrats!” And maybe having an option to select from a negative, neutral, or positive message or set to none/no notifications. These can be counter specific as well. (Hypothetically). My next suggestion was a “stop counting” option, like if you no longer want to count it after a certain amount of days, and then maybe a notification that was like “your ____ counter stopped, check it out!” (I don’t know) Or a way to make it so that certain lack of use doesn’t count towards your overall progress statistics—sometimes I forget to track or have something else going on that day and don’t want my lack of counting to affect the statistics of the progress I’ve made. I can probably think of more but at the moment I’m stumped and should be getting some sleep. So goodnight and thank you for this great app.

Hello,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your suggestions!

Тwo days ago we release version 2.0 that contains reminders that can be set individually per counter. The only thing that is not added to the reminders feature yet is customization of the test show in the notification.

For the other suggestions, I am not sure I understand well the use cases. Do you mind to contact us at contact@dayssinceapp.com to tell us more details about them?

Best regards,
Nadya
