I see a lot of bad reviews but mine works great. It’s really sensitive. It catches anytime I go in and out the door! Clear videos too. My son in Thailand has access and one day greeted me here in the USA when I was walking up to the door. Really surprised me!I have the “Ring” doorbell with this app.

I knew this would be crappy, wasn't expecting anything great for 30 bucks.. But figured why not give it a shot. Privacy was a major concern so I tried pairing it with multiple apps I use.. Nope it will only pair with this craptasic app. Other devices I own are all able to sync with different apps other than the brands. This is a must for me I don't want 50 apps for everything I own. That's the first deal breaker . Second was the inconsistently of the app and wifi connection. I have long range access points wifi signal should not be an issue yet this thing drops out constantly on a stable connection. When it dose work the video feed takes a solid minute to even load. I actually thought something might be wrong with my network. Again nope this thing is just crappy like that. And lastly security is definitely an issue here... Just press the button for 8 seconds and congratulations you can hijack the camera. If I wanted to go digging I'm sure there are much bigger security concerns but that alone was enough to make me return the device and remove the app. Also sign up with a throwaway email address if you are unfortunate enough to need this app.

I set up the doorbell within five minutes. Its very easy to doAlthough a few minutes after I said it up and tested it I received an email saying that the ownership had changed hands. I have never given anyone permission to share. I contacted the help center several times my email with no response. I deleted the app from my phone making sure that I had attempted to delete all the information but wouldn’t allow me to change my WiFi. I then logged out of the system . The doorbell was still running and recording because the light was flashing and make no sounds when pushed. I took the receiver for whatever that little white thing is out of the wall socket removed the doorbell itself and it didn’t stop working until I pulled out the batteries. It’s pretty messed up to say the least.

I've been using LiveHome for my video doorbell for a year now and it works really well. I love the simplicity of the app. Very user friendly. I'm installing security cameras next week and plan to use LiveHome to monitor. I love that I can link all my security devices to this app. Nice job, LiveHome!
