Ratings and Reviews
Great game, but a few issues
This game is amazing. It’s fun, and has nearly endless replayability if you play as different nations. You can edit the game, maps, and more, and even create your own scenario; something I’ve never seen on mobile.
However, the game freezes occasionally, and sometimes even crashes, thereby ruining your save game. If you choose the default “Scale x1” resolution, it’s impossible to play the game. I wish the default was at least “Scale x3” which is playable.
In short, four stars because the game, (ignoring issues) is amazing, but four stars due to the game’s freezing and crashing issues. (This could be caused by my phone, an iPhone 6S).
Amazing, but the crashes...
I absolutely love the game, but I’m so limited to the crashing. On most the world maps, it’ll only crash every once in a while, as in at least a few dozen or so turns. When I play the Age of Civilizations mode where all the Nations start with one province on the map, I like having more than the normal amount of Nations, which makes it really fun, but even with only 500 out of the more than 1200 or so Nations, it crashes every about 8 turns. Also, controls are a little iffy and can be irritating sometimes. And if Nations could look like Hearts of Iron 4 or have the option of that graphic, that would be awesome. The game is overall buggy and can use a lot of work, but for one guy, and the game being decently new, I’m impressed. I see this game getting much better in the future, and I look forward to the updates, which hopefully are coming. And hopefully with the money being earned from this game, the Developer can hire a guy or two, and really make this game absolutely amazing. Good job!
A little buggy but awesome
If you’re familiar with Paradox grand strategy games, you’ll love this. Pick any nation from any point in history and go to town! However there are some bugs. First, there’s the one that occurs when a lot is happening at once (which is understandable). The screen becomes unresponsive for a few seconds and the sound glitches out. Second, it crashes after around 30 minutes of gameplay, which means constantly saving is a must. Other than that this is a fantastic 4X GS game. If you’re still working on adding content, please add a WWI scenario! Love it!
