BarSpoon is a cocktail recipe app with elegant design and user friendly navigation. With more than 1300 cocktails you can easily find the perfect drink recipe.
We offer step by step instructions and exact measurements in order to create your favorite cocktails. The app helps you pick the right glassware and garnish as well as providing the approximate prep time. Also, there is a fun fact on the history of the cocktail.
Explore the different categories from classics and tropicals (tiki) to coffee drinks and famous cocktails that have appeared in film. You can also search by the different eras, taste buds (sweet, bitter, sour, savory, smoky and spicy) and base spirits.
The best feature of BarSpoon is that it enables the user to choose ingredients on hand in order to make new drinks as well as old favorites. Just select from one of the four categories (main spirits, liqueurs, fresh juices and extras) or combine ingredients between them to discover your cocktail recipe.

Learn in detailed fashion about all the bar tools and glassware needed as well as exclusive behind the scenes access to bar lingo, shortcuts and tips from real life bartenders. The “liqueurs lexicon” provides flavor profiles and a history of each liqueur.
You don’t live in the US? No problem! BarSpoon easily converts recipe measurements to ML so you can make your favorite drinks anywhere in the world!

I feel like I’m stealing getting this app for free
Now hear me out, I know there is a premium option, but with the gorgeous layout out of this app and how simple, sleek, and elegant all the features are, even the free version feels like such a steal. As a complete noob in the alcohol world and knowing absolutely nothing about cocktail making, I was able to find, shop for, and make an amazing cocktail for the first time with ease and absolutely no guesswork. i’m not much of an app reviewer myself, but I couldn't resist giving these devs the credit they deserve.
Game Changer
I’ve been looking for something like BarSpoon for a long time. As a professional server I’m constantly being asked to serve custom cocktails. It’s always been a pain, until I came across this app, as google search has let me down on several occasions. The software is clean and aesthetic. I can even view the progression of popular cocktails over the last Century. Keep up the great work Barspoon, you have yourself a lifetime subscriber.

Really great app!
I really like this app! That said,I *really* would like to see variations of cocktails. Specifically, it would be great if I was able to modify, create, store and “favorite” variations and come with some preloaded.
For instance, I prefer the peychaud sazerac to the sazerac recipe within - being able to store, retrieve and share that would be next level IMO. At any rate, by leaps and bounds better than anything else I’ve found.

You can like any of our recipes and they will be automatically saved in your FAVORITES ( the heart icon button in the navigation bar). Also you can share each recipe to any social media, email or text message. Just look for the share button at the bottom of each cocktail.
