Works without effort

PetAssure works as promised and already after 2 weeks saved us more than we paid for (we got the annual card). Just be sure to check their list of providers to see if a good vet is nearby. For us it works well, the closest participating vet also happens to be a very good vet (5 stars out of 21 reviews on Yelp).My wife and I reviewed several pet insurance policies and talked to people who had pet insurance and came to the conclusion that they do not offer any financial security. Most of the time, they’ll find loopholes so they can avoid having to pay. We are now using PetAssure along with setting money aside equal in the amount we would have paid for insurance. It’s not like a human health insurance kind of financial security but better than pet insurance.

Im Glad I chose this insurance
I was very unsure about this company when I first joined a month ago. When I took my dog’s a snapshot of my dogs bill and sent it in, I received a message less than 24 hours later stating that it was being processed. 72 hours after that I received an email stating I received a deposit in my PayPal account. My account honestly had $98 in my account from Pet Assure I forgot the name of the processing company as the payment is fulfilled through them. My vet bill was $125 so getting $98 back was a total win!!! The service was fast, easy, and 100% REAL. I was able to transfer my payment hassle free to my bank account. If you’re looking to save money on your fur baby this is it!!! I highly recommend Pet Assure!!!

Great Resource for Those Who Rescue

I got a senior black lab last year that was in rough shape. I immediately got pet insurance - only to find that virtually every claim I submitted was denied as the condition was declared pre-existing. I was grateful to find Pet Assure. Their willingness to cover pre-existing conditions made keeping my rescue possible. It even led me to an awesome vet that was in their network. I would encourage everyone (especially those with rescue animals) to get Pet Assure. They are the best!

I immediately got pet insurance - only to find that virtually every claim I submitted was denied as the condition was declared pre-existing. I was grateful to find Pet Assure. Their willingness to cover pre-existing conditions made keeping my rescue possible. It even led me to an awesome vet that was in their network. I would encourage everyone (especially those with rescue animals) to get Pet Assure. They are the best!
Difficult to use

This discount program works fine for basic services, IF you can find a Vet you like near you. However, if you need to find a specialist, ie a surgeon to perform an ACL repair, you run into huge roadblocks. I called customer service to request help locating this and was told they can only tell you a participating Vet by location, not by surgeons or specialties. They advised me to call each provider to ask whether they perform this surgery! Their program definitely needs some technical redesign to accommodate their customers who are paying for this service through payroll deductions!
