Description

If you are looking for a basic meal plan or to help with your food budget then this app might help. A simple page view of the weekly meals which can be shared or printed along with a weekly shopping list of all the ingredients for all your selected meals. Add your favourite recipes so you always have all the ingredients for each meal you select. The shopping list also allows you to add non meal items so whether it is your favourite tea or coffee or non edibles you can have a shopping list for all your needs.
There is also the option to personalise the colours and fonts of your plan and shopping lists.

Simple Menu Planner

The simple menu planner is just what it says, simple and easy to use. It lets you add your own meal titles and the ingredients that go into your meals and is pretty flexible with what you need to plan meals for your week. For now I will continue to use this but I would love to see some important changes: you can print your meal plan and it listed by day and you can print your shopping list but you cannot print your recipe list which can be helpful in making sure that you know when you’re ready to put together your meal what you will need it that goes into it.

Also the red lettering font doesn’t seem to be able to be changed. Other than that, it is pretty useful for my needs which are pretty simple. I just needed to be able to create my own menus and have a list of my ingredients for the week.

Great little app

Was looking for something simple to plan meals for the week. This fit the bill. Though it is pre-loaded with a bunch of items, consider them simply as examples of what you can do. as everything can be deleted so you can start clean. You can make your meal item as simple (just the name) or as complex (lists of ingredients and/or recipes) as you want. I'm not using it for diet or nutrition records so don't really need snack entries. A few suggestions that would make it 5 stars: 1. Allow whether or not to turn the "include in shopping list" on or off by default in the settings. 2. Have a text title next to each of the icons (i.e. Bread/Grains, Dairy, Meat/Fish, Vegetables/Fruit, Frozen, Spices, etc). 3. When filling in name fields, blank out the displayed default text so it doesn't end up being part of the entry before you notice it. 4. Allow user to decide which day of the week to start the week on (typically Sunday or Monday).
But these are minor and really don't effect the overall operation of the app. Good Job!

Perfect for what I needed!

Was looking for exactly this! Weekly meal plans I can make myself. Can add multiple weeks as we like to rotate our meals. And it isn’t set to a calendar. Just a Sunday to Saturday schedule.

My only suggestion is a way to sort which day your week starts. For example, my weeks usually start on Tuesday as that is my grocery day. Hope that can be a function added in the future.

Besides that, it’s perfect for my needs :)
