Amazing visuals (also glitched???)

I’ve been using this app for a while now, and it’s so visually stunning. It’s great for putting something on the screen while I’m listening to music and doing something else. Also SPACE IS COOL!!!Note; I’m unsure whether or not this is a glitch or I just don’t know how to bring it up, but the hud seems to have disappeared and I can’t seem to get it to appear no matter what I do. It used to appear for me before, but now I can’t get it to work. I’m on an iPad mini, not a phone.Edit; thanks so much for the reply. Your suggestion seems to have worked. ✨

Hi thanks so much for the kind review! I’m so glad you’re enjoying it. Apple keep releasing new ios versions which breaks things because the app is really old and flakey now (it’s hard to keep it working!) I also use an iPad mini and it works ok - I suspect you may have orientation lock on? Even if you haven’t, try rotating your device to portrait and back to landscape. It should make the hud reappear. I’m working on a complete remake that should make it much more stable!

I cannot believe that Planetary is finally back. I have been waiting for years hoping that someone would pick up the app and update it for modern devices. This used to be the sole way I would listen to music from my library back when I had an iPad mini. I’m so beyond overjoyed to see my old friend come home on my modern phone. I ended up losing access to the original app after my iPad went under.The familiarity of seeing your library displayed as an ambient solar system is something I’ll never get tired of. Honestly because of the memories I had with this app I would have even paid 20$ for it. (No subscriptions tho, that’s wack.)(Also portrait support would be GREATLY appreciated. Landscape makes it impossible to grab the sliders at the bottom because of the bottom of the screen acting as a home button on modern phones. That and it makes it impossible to see much.)

I’m ecstatic that this app still exists!!!💫 I remember when I first downloaded this app. I loved it, but then it seemed like the designer stopped updating and working on it. I was seriously disappointed for the loss of such a wonderful audio-visual experience! Now though, I hunted and found that it has been slightly renamed and updated!🤩 Thank you millions for bringing this app up to speed. I can’t wait to mirror this to my television. I’m stoked!!! 📀💿📀

Really! Just download and see for yourself! Enough to say that this is my first review ever, after more than 10 years with apple. Really enjoy it with instrumental music! Maybe two improvements: 1. perspective should be avoided for spheres (they become distorted when they transit behind), and 2. that stars flares following the rhythm of music. That will be jaw dropping. Really. Congrats for this app!

Updated texture generation for Album art on Planets. Fixed a glitch that caused the player to zoom in to a playing track multiple times. Fixed button layouts on iPhones - should no longer overlap. Reduced font size a tad on iPhone labels. Fixed vignette size on larger devices (no more black edges). Bumped geometry resolution on 'close' planets.
