Plugs working through the app but no longer Google Home

Just started today. The plugs have been working for a month, now they still work through the app but Google Home no longer can link to them. Not sure whose end this is on, SP1 or Google. They just disappeared from my Google Home. Now when I try to add them back Google says it links but then “something went wrong please try again”Have tried resetting them, deleting from SP1 and resetting up the plug, tried different wifi networks, nothing.

I looked at current reviews and saw so many people having bad experiences which made me hesitant on purchasing but I decided to pull the trigger anyways cause the worse thing would be that I would have to return it. And I’m glad to report that it was SO EASY to set up. The directions are step by step, no confusion at all. I like that you can schedule on/off times and that there is also a timer. Also I like that you can name the plugs so if you multiple you don’t have to guess what is what. I’m glad I didn’t listen to the reviews. I would of missed out on a great product if I did.

If you have issues setting up, try restarting your phone!

Updating my review... I had some issues setting up my 6th device, and the customer care helped me! So if the app only shows you (tap to change) message in one of the steps that asks you to connect to a Wi-Fi (meaning you can’t see the Wi-Fi’s name in the app during in that step), it’s became of an iOS13 system bug. So if your iOS version is 13.1.3, just upgrade your system to the most recent one (iOS 13.2.3) or just shut down and restart your phone before the setup process if your iOS version is 13.2.3 already.

It works pretty decently I mean it’s a smart plug, connect it and control your house kind of. I wish it worked with siri shortcuts but oh well. Noticed that it disconnected and didn’t want to reconnect, others might have this issue but it was an easy fix. For some reason it didn’t show originally when trying to fix in the WiFi, I went and removed the plug and reput it on, if it doesn’t show up in your WiFi then hold power for five seconds even if it’s blinking, should blink orange and then go back to green, this refreshes it and allows it to show up. I only found this by pressing that it wasn’t blinking. GL
