My wife took her cat in for vaccinations, pre-op for neutering, and even grooming all in one visit for a really great price (sub $200 with monthly membership which is $10 a month). With COVID, you wait outside the building and they take your pet and take care of everything over the phone. They send a link for you to pay for visit.App makes it easy to track, store, and use information for “in-store” visits.

I want to make it clear.. my vet in my location is wonderful and I feel like she really cares about my pets. However, this app is the absolute worst. For example, it kept asking for my pets microchip information. There’s no way to add it. Keeps showing that I need to update it. My wonderful took the information and fixed it. Then I had an emergency where I was going to be going out of town. My oldest cat was taking a medication and is very stubborn about receiving it. So i called to confirm if I could stop while I was out of town. The call center in I’m sorry India is horrible. I want to talk to my vet! Not you! I had to escalate and tell the manager to transfer me to the location so I could talk to their office. With this COVID-19, I’ve gone to the office where it tells you to call and someone will get my pet. Oh, they don’t answer Boom! Call goes to India! I work in a call center and these guys are just not helpful. Why does a vet need a call center and app that doesn’t work. I can’t!

When installing the app, the first thig it wants to do is set your primary vet clinic. It doesn't have my local vet clinic available. I can log into the Thrive website, and it's available, but you can't even get started in this app until you've set your primary clinic. I'm not going to choose a different one just to get into the app, because it seems entirely possible that would then transfer everything in my already existing account to another clinic in another state, so that next time I visit or call my vet clinic, they'll act like they don't know who I am.As a side note, the thrive website account is also not great. I went there today to change my email address on the account, and you cannot do that. What modern system like this won't lety you change basic contact information?

We’ve been using shotvet for all of our previous vaccinations and flea/heart worm medicine. However Thrive is just as cheap WITH a checkup and the staff have been great. The app has all of the info that we need for our pups like weight, vaccines, microchip ID, etc. I love being able to easily book an appointment with the app!! Thank you Thrive for being there for us and our little rag tag group of pups!!!
