This app helps blind people to recognize objects and colors. How it works: There are two fields on the start screen of the app. Click the upper half of the screen to start the object detection. Click on the lower half of the screen to activate the color detection. You can always return to the home screen by sliding your finger down the screen. Object detection uses the iPhone camera to detect objects. Aim the camera in one direction and the app names the recognized objects via voice output. Color detection uses the camera to detect color. Aim the camera in one direction and the app will name the color via voice output. The app is free of charge.
