So far I have had a smooth experience using this app. From signing up to scheduling international shipments. I would say people need to exercise more patience and not expect an app to work like magic. I haven’t had any issues using GIGL for deliveries both locally and internationally. Nigerians please try to be patient before condemning a brand. Thankfully gig is a known brand doing very well and making improvements daily. If this was a small business these negative reviews would ruin it.And before anyone thinks to themselves that this is probably a staff of GIGL writing this, I’d like to state that I do not work for them and have only had smooth transactions with them. From being a passenger on their bus years ago to now shipping with their logistics company both locally and internationally. Gigl, Only improvement I would suggest is please work on updating real time info on shipments. Thank you!

Your updates should include dates and time any event occurs in the course of shipment movement. Well your services are turning into something else. Shipments takes like forever to be delivered. I currently have shipment from US to Nigeria. It is one month from the time it was shipped out and up till now the tracking records only shows that is it still on transit and no one communicates what the delay is all about. Besides it took more than 2 weeks to be shipped out after payment, approximately this will take 2 months in total to get to me, a shipment that I paid Go Fast for that matter.

Having been introduced to this app my one of their staff praising it as seamless, he requested for pickup and still still picked up by himself then told me it’ll be that simple. I made a terrible mistake that no one else should make trying to use this app. Created a shipment on the 13th of December 2024, waited till a wait and no development.. spent loads of airtime calling repeatedly only to be told “sorry, it’ll be prioritized” uncountable times up until today 20th of January 2025, the package wasn’t attended to, I’ll login and would see “Delayed pickup” that’ll stay there till I call and they’ll ask me to cancel and recreate. Each time, the price keeps being reviewed upward. After more than a month of frustration, I had to use a different company and they picked up same day. Btw, while calling to confirm the pickup from the new company, I was then informed that the pickup person sent from GIG was arrogant and aggressive, asked about the info of the order but he angrily left without answering.

I love the convenience this app has to offer in terms of scheduling pick up and tracking shipments. I own an e-commerce store and would like to see the cash on delivery option for those that have paid extra for that service because right now, if I need cash on delivery i have to take the package to the store. This COD option is requested more in Nigeria so this app is becoming more useless to me.
