I know this may be soon, but I just downloaded this app earlier today. I was not planning to quit today but just wanted to see how the app was. I love it. I had fun setting up my profile even though I was still really nervous to quit. Just a little bit ago(like maybe 15 minutes or so), I was looking at the motivation screen on the app and clicked on the “Okay, get a grip” button. This may sound silly but after a few gifs one of Obama saying “so don’t wait.” popped up and it clicked in my brain. And then, I looked at my tv and I’ve been watching Kitchen Nightmares, but the owner of the restaurant was an ex smoker and had one of those things in her throat that they have to push to talk with, and I know that was God telling me to do it NOW and to not wait too late. It’s 5 am now, and I just threw away my vape and my cart. I’m still anxious for what’s to come because I know it’s a difficult road but I need to do this for my health. You can do it too! You’re amazing and so worth it, treat your body like a temple 🤍 we may get a new body when we go to Heaven but it’s foolish to treat this one bad. You deserve to be loved and you deserve to treat and love yourself!

I honestly didn’t think I could just up and quit vaping but I did exactly that… I was heavily addicted for 9 years. I saw that 2 of my friends were quitting and they were using this app so I decided to give it a shot. I’m 92 days in so far and I definitely have to give this app some credit for that. It’s cool to be able to keep track of your progress and it makes it much easier to stay at it. It was hard but seeing the milestones and the benefits to your health that you're working towards make it so much easier to just tough out the cravings. I can’t wait to make it to 1 year. I already notice the huge improvement to my lungs and even more so to my overall mood/tolerance. 10/10 would recommend to anyone thinking about quitting. Give it a shot, if it doesn’t work for you at least you’re making a conscious effort.

I’ve been addicted for nearly 6 years- I’m on patches (step 1) but I’ve dropped the vape. My lungs haven’t inhaled anything in a few days, which has been very hard. There is a very strong addiction with hand to mouth, needing to have a vape near me/in my hand. I’m cutting this addiction out first, then the nicotine. It feels as if each second that passes, I have the thought, “I need the vape”, but the app helps me and reminds me of the goals I’ve made for myself. I don’t own a Juul and I didn’t “fully” quit yet- but I don’t care.. this app applies so well to the audience. It gives out loads of encouragement, breathing techniques and even some hard reality truth of the effects of vaping. You pick what you need to stay strong. I’m so impressed, I think when I finally am free of nicotine I’ll restart the timer so I can actually embellish in being fully nicotine free with the badges and rewards the app gives.. but until then I’m so thankful to see the last time I vaped and it encourages me to keep that number growing. 6 years of vaping = 2,190 days where I put a vape to my mouth multiple times a day. I’m praying God has mercy on my lungs fr. 😭 For the sake of my future, kids and health- I’m going to not pick up that vape again. Thank you for this app, extremely helpful.
