CMC On Demand provides on demand, curb to curb bus service in Ocean City, NJ. CMC On Demand is a no cost bus service made available by the County of Cape May. This app will allow the rider to simply and effectively request a free ride within the borders of Ocean City. At any time during business hours (8 am to 4 pm) the rider can request a ride to any location on the island. The nearest available bus will be dispatched to the rider’s location and the app will provide the rider with an approximate pick up and drop off time for this curb to curb service. There is no limit to the number of trips that can be provided to a single rider. This service is fully accessible for all riders and comes equipped with a lift and securement locations for wheel chairs and mobility devices. Passengers with children requiring car seats must provide an adequate car seat in accordance with State law.

Misleading Advertisement

I went and downloaded the app, signed up and ordered a ride. I assumed it would just be easy as that since the ride was confirmed for pickup. 30 minutes go past since the confirmed pickup time the app has set up and the car is still parked in a location about 2 minutes away. We called the number in the settings (which the lady who answered was rude and snappy) and they said that you need to be in the system. So why does it not say that when I was signing up? I confirmed my email and all but was never enlightened by the fact that we need to have signed up previously. Wasted over an hour of our time just to order an Uber instead of the free fare transportation that was advertised

Riders can now permanently delete their account. Once the account is removed, they can no longer log in to this app.
