Not a promotion all these are completely from my heart guys, Really Audius is an underrated gem, It lets artists upload music directly and earn fairly no middlemen. Like many music apps like spotify,amazon music and more centralized apps which pays way lesser to the artist and The sound quality is amazing, and the platform is completely free to use. Love the fact that it’s decentralized, ad-free, and community driven. You can even discover many indie artists before they blow up. Audius is the future of music! Artists can upload tracks, reach fans directly, and keep 100% of their earnings—no greedy middlemen or hidden fees. Totally underrated and perfect for indie artists looking to grow without giving up their rights. Must try for musicians and real music lovers, Way ahead of mainstream apps highly recommend.

Defeating the entire purpose of having a crypto-blockchain & decentralized platform, Audius doesn’t distribute or pay artists for streams with their platform’s Token. 2-3 years & as one of it’s earliest supporters & adopters, this is inexcusable. The initial idea of Audius was promising, now that the biggest shareholders of the token have the largest stakes of the currency, they prefer to keep it instead of doing what we all thought the platform was created to do. “Top 5 playlist, Top 5 underground blah blah blah” is not a TRUE way to pay artists for the use of their music. Being the first blockchain platform for music streaming I believe the platform has failed in its mission. Their will be another platform that comes about surely & when it does, it will solve this issue & only then will Audius CONSIDER paying EVERY artist for their streams. Just stupidity at it’s finest, & greed. Node operators that don’t even distribute music make more than the artists by a landslide. Correct me if I’m wrong? Tell me that you guys shouldn’t pay artists for the use of their music with your platform token, & the fact that years after launch this isn’t happening isn’t as ridiculous as one could imagine? I’ll wait-actually I won’t. Best of luck, I don’t encourage any artist to out their work here, you will not be compensated. Audius, you have to forgive me but this is the truth & I can assure you I supported the platform in a patient way as long as I could.

I’ve been on Audius for a few months now, and ever since joining I wanted an app for easier navigation as well as ease of access for casual listeners. I’m happy to say that after waiting, I’m very excited with this launch, as it’s probably the smoothest app launch I’ve seen in a long time! The UI is very organized and easy to navigate, it’s not hard to view notifications and discover music, and the team gave us DARK MODE on LAUNCH! I highly recommend getting the app if you want to listen to artists on Audius, or if you’re looking to network on the go!-Young Obed👾

So far, I’ve been loving the app and everything it has going for it. From the UI, to the audio quality, and the performance of the app, it has a really good premise to be as, if not, more successful than platforms like soundcloud. For now, it’s not offering anything worthwhile, apart from amazing quality and monetization, that can continuously bring in users to use and listen through the app. It does however, still have a few issues, or I would like some settings added to it to make it more user-friendly. Issue 1: The repeat/loop function doesn’t seem to work. Every time I set it to loop one song, it either doesn’t loop, and plays the next song, or the music stops entirely and I have to go back into the app to manually restart the song. Issue 2: When opening the app, it does have a chance to stay in a boot loop of the app, to which you’ll have to close out the app and try again, and again if it does it another time in a row. Future setting 1: Night Mode! Would be helpful to add a night mode to the app to help those (like myself), from looking at the bright white UI of the app.Future setting 2: The ability to download and play songs offline. I’m sure this is a setting planned for the future when a subscription service gets introduced, but being able to play songs when not connected to any internet/service, would help further increase interest in Audius, as you can take your music, anywhere and any time. Other than that, the app is great, and I cannot wait to see what more it has in store for us!Edit: Can’t even sign in anymore :/ Bumping down to 2 stars.
