Greetings and Salutations Dear App Developer,I regret to inform you that I believe Bluetooth-Attachable keyboards are somewhat malfunctioning when used within your Story Plotter app. I genuinely love your app, the pure organization factor is one of the most amazing things I have seen within an app for quite some time. My favorite feature being the timeline ability.Although I have noticed that the keyboards are not working as they should, as of lately. Some keys are just simply not working, and occasionally when typing a letter. Three of which will appear an example of this being “Pppresent.” Other than this inconvenience, your app is almost perfect. I am very confident that it is not a problem with my keyboard as a whole. As it is new and I am currently typing this review out on Google Doc and I have not run into any of these problems yet.I am not sugarcoating things when I say it is my favorite writing app of all time. For the past year or so I had a great idea for a story, but it was only that, an idea. Before I got this app, I would plot my ideas in my notes. Let me tell you, VERY ineffective, and very messy. It felt like I didn’t have any organization or any guiding questions that would help me develop the plot, world, or characters. This app changes all of that! I kid you not, this app has let me watch my own story unfold before my very eyes! It’s amazing for a couple of reasons, the first being organization. Once you the decision to develop a story, it gives you different sections for characters, ideas you might have for the story (like cool scenes or plot ideas, etc), it’s gotta hecking timeline, there’s a diagram that lets you see how your characters relate to eachother, there’s folders you can organize your content in and more. I feel like I can really see my story as a whole without digging through a bunch of random clutter for one thing specific. The next best thing, and my favorite part, is that this app, when creating a character, has these little blanks that ask you questions about what makes that character tick. These questions helped me to develop my characters, and therefore put in plot points in the story to really show their personalities. My next favorite thing is that this app is COMPLETELY FREE! No awful subscriptions in order to use the story creator. The only subscription is to share the created stories among other devices which I’d say is pretty reasonable. I only just started using the app today so I have yet to use everything it has to offer, but already I can tell this is going to be a game changer for how I write my stories. Thank you creators for this amazing app!

There are a lot of tools, methods, techniques out there. And all are very good. The writing process is a continual movement from the 10’ level to the 30,000 foot level. You are continually going from detail to summary, events to plot, etc. That’s because you’re trying to make the flow of events work throughout the book and on many levels. This tool, helps you flesh out your characters, the events, the motivations, and the result is that the flow of your story begins to show up. Its pretty amazing. I am in the middle of a 4,000 word story that I’ve written probably 4 times. (Not my first book). Running it through this tool, and things are starting to gel quite nicely. FEEDBACK: The UI can put you off in the beginning. Its a little wierd to get used to. But once you get it, it makes ALOT of sense. And it allows you to make quick/meaningful story plot changes in an instant. After a couple of days, the UI just made a whole lot of sense. SUGGESTION: During the writing/working out of the script/plot/story, app suggestions come up that the story is too long. I love that feature. I think its based on the question up front as to which type of story do you want to tell. But I have no way of changing that or knowing where that can be changed, in case my story ends up being longer than originally anticipated. SUGGESTION: in the “writing of a story” part, there are sections under Story Detail. These include SCENE, ACT. Recommend you change the word ACT to CUT ( as it appears it once was). In my feeble attempt to bring clarity, generally Acts contain multiple scenes. Scenes do not contain Acts. SUGGESTION: In the “Write Story” section why not make the UI be the same as the rest of the app. That is… give the writer the ability to shift the lines around. Right now, if I write a few lines of dialogue, I cant shift them around like I can earlier in the process. This hinders the writing process that was speeding along so quickly earlier.

Thanks so much for this app. While the wording in places can be tricky to understand, this has really helped me with my writing and organization. However, as one reviewer has mentioned, there is a new bug with bluetooth keyboards. It will randomly skip letters I type or add duplicate letters where I did not type them. I have never used the web site before, and I thought going there would fix it. But, the web site will not load for me. I have tried on multiple browsers and have waited for up to ten-fifteen minutes with no luck. Thanks again for the app. Regardless of these setbacks, I still love planning my stories on it.
