I can’t tell you how often I have to split the bill with a big group at dinner. Usually this follows by my having to write down a lot of math on the back of the receipt, but no more! I love how this app scans in all of the information on the receipt and lets you easily allocate each item to everyone at the table. Not only is this a time saver, but it also makes me more confident in paying for the bill myself and then using Venmo afterwards. The app also looks amazing and is very intuitive to use. I can’t wait to continue using this!

I used to dread the end of a meal out with friends since we all usually paid separately. Also felt bad for the restaurant having so many processing fees for each of us. Splitty made it quick and easy to divvy up the bill and request payment from everyone. A search bar for contacts would make it even better! Not everyone in my group had an iPhone or Venmo so iMessage wasn't a option. Integrating with PayPal or Cash App too would be great. I used the tool to copy the itemized note to send to everyone and thought everything worked great, until I reliazed that the note did not include the tax and tip which I paid! The "copy charge amount" option includes that though. 🤨 So I ended up eating a few extra dollars, not the biggest deal in the world, but thought it was worth mentioning.

appreciate the feedback. in the latest version of splitty (releasing tomorrow), you'll find a search bar when adding contacts, an option to send notes via Messages (whether sms or iMessage), and an improved itemized note, breaking down the tip, tax, and total.thanks for helping us make splitty better! 🤜🤛

Absolute quality app that does exactly what I want — I’ve tried a half dozen more popular ones and this one wins out, easy purchase.Few suggestions:- ability to export total bill & each member’s bill to .jpeg so I can sent it to the group chat (right now I rely on several screenshots)- pop up tab when clicking on member can weirdly move side to side when scrolling- no exit/save button after I finish splitting- some apps electronically link to Venmo, importing photos and friends and allow to track progress of Venmo receipts, the current Venmo integration is poor relying on phone numbers assigned to contacts

I am often paying the bill at outings with friends or family and dread calculating the bill. I spent most of my morning today looking for an app where i can take a picture of my receipt and make it easy for me to assign the cost of an item to an individual. So glad I found splitty which does exactly that - and its so straightforward & user interface is easy to navigate.My only feedback (which would be more of an improvement) is to:1) provide a summary screenshot to send to friends / family versus inviting them to the app since most people use zelle over venmo these days.2) provide an entry for individual taxes. In san francisco, they have an sf mandate tax and a sales tax. This wasnt a big deal at all but i had to open up my calculator to add the two taxes. Adding this line item would make the experience nice and seamless.

We rebuilt splitty from scratch. Brand new look (hello, Liquid Glass). Faster and more fun to use. More ways to split. More payment options. Shareable totals so everyone sees the breakdown. Plus new settings to customize how you split. It's still 30 seconds. It just feels better now.
