Early Learning Ventures Parent & Pickup Mobile App Is used by both parent/guardians of childcare providers, and non-parent/guardians, that are using Early Learning Venture's Alliance CORE system. The Parent & Pickup app allows parent(s) and guardian(s): - Approve Attendance - Communicate with your child’s Care Team, or administration staff - Receive alerts for Immunizations, Medical Evaluations, etc. - Receive/Read Provider to Parent messages - Report a child as absent - Request/Receive reporting - Maintain Emergency Contact/Authorized Pickups - Setup/ Maintain billing instructions - Setup/Maintain billing payment methods - Make electronic payments for childcare. For family members authorized to drop-off and pick-up children, Child Care Providers will often have a Kiosk running in the center or home that displays a QR Code. Simply use this app to scan that QR Code, and check-in or pick-up is a snap.

Could be so much better

This app has potential, but so far misses the mark for us. We’ve been using it for a few weeks now and much like the complaints of other users, notifications (messages, check in-out etc.) don’t come through if you’ve closed the app because the app automatically signs you out when you exit… sure, checking the “remember me” tab allows for you to login quickly with your credentials, but this defeats the purpose if you can’t receive notifications unless the app is logged in. Please fix this…

I have to log into the app every time I open it. I use the app, come back one minute later and it’s logged out. How am I supposed to get real time notifications of messages from the daycare that may be urgent when it’s always logged out? It’s a waste of my time to login and then check in/out on the kiosk. Busy parents dropping their child off in the morning don’t have extra time to spare. Please fix this. I’ve been forced to use this app for two days and I’m already super annoyed. And I missed a message ALL day yesterday because the app was logged out and I finally saw it when I had to login to checkout my child end of day.

So far no issues. We use this app on iOS and on Android. There are issues on both sides but not to a point that’s unusable. We like to use the shortcut automation that’s triggered by arrival at school. This app isn’t listed in the apps available to use. PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE! SAVES USERS TIME WHEN NEEDING TO BRING OUT PHONE TO SCAN CODE AT SCHOOL!This feature actually works on android and is so helpful when arriving at school. Once you open your phone at your set location, the app is up and running where you just have to login. One less thing while in rush time.

My app recently stopped working, and in investigating I just noticed that the update doesn’t automatically show up in my App Store like all my other apps. Is there a setting the developer needs to make so users like me can have updates show up in the updates Apps area?
