Ratings and Reviews
Regen
I had a bad experience with such a tool. But today, after a long time when I complained about the device and the update, they did what seemed impossible to me. I tried to use this device because my truck said that it needed a regen, but it did not start through the menu. This device did without any extra effort and without the difficulties that were before. 30 minutes and my truck is ready to go again. Thanks to everyone who listened to the comments.
Best tool - did exactly as was expected
Had some issues with clearing faults codes and not being able to do a regen. Once I got the tool all my frustrations went away the tool worked flawlessly to clear my codes, do a forced regen and get me back on the road.
This is a great tool and every owner operator should have one!!!
Too buggy
The OTR Performance app is too buggy right now and needs to be fixed.
First off, I have to turn off and on the Bluetooth on my iPad which I use the app with for the communication to update in real time instead of having a serious lag
Second, in the Live Data when I was reading specific gauges like Fuel Economy if it goes to 0mpg when accelerator was let off going down hill, the gauge would close out and back to the main Live Data page
Third, I used the Forced DPF Regen last night and after two minutes I started the regen, the app claimed it was finished while the actual regen continued for the next hour
Fourth, Live Data gauges were rearranged in the new updates and there are some gauges not available anymore. I hope there’s a setting page where user are allowed to click on the gauges they want showing in the Live Data tab
