Knitting & Crochet Buddy 2 (Knitting Buddy) is an all-in-one knitting and crochet project tracker. Knitting Buddy 2 syncs all data to the cloud and allows you to share and sync the same data between all of your devices. Knitting Buddy 2 has the following features: ----CREATE PROJECTS---- Within a project, you can track rows and repeats, store your pattern as a PDF or image, store photos of the project, keep a project timer, change project themes, store project notes (e.g. project name, status, yarns and needles used, other notes, etc.). All knitting project data, including photos and patterns, are synced to the cloud and available across all devices. ---- CREATE KNITTING NEEDLES AND CROCHET HOOKS---- Create knitting needles and crochet hooks. For each needle and hook in the list, edit the type, size, length, material, whether it is ‘available,’ it’s color (including a color picker!), and notes about the hook or needle. All needle and hook data is synced to the cloud and available across all devices. ---- CREATE YARN STASH ---- Track your entire yarn stash! The list of fields includes name, weight, color number, dye lot, yardage, color, amount remaining, and notes. Pro users can add a picture of the yarn label! All yarn data is synced to the cloud and available across all devices. ---- GLOBAL SETTINGS ---- Includes features like leaving the screen on while on the project page and vibrating when buttons are pressed. ---- CHARTS AND ABBREVIATIONS---- References material like needle size charts, hook size charts, knitting symbols, crochet symbols, yarn standards, and common knitting and crochet abbreviations for quick reference! ---- TOOLS ----- Knitting Buddy has a full screen flashlight, and row increase and row decrease calculators that supporting both knitting and crochet. I was using the original Knitting Buddy for several years and it was good, but this one is even better. There is so much you can do on it. I don’t think I fully utilize it and I crochet more than knit, but it works for that, too. I’m very happy with it.

Of all the knitting apps I’ve tried, this one is the most useful. Keep track of yarn, needles, and projects with pdf or website urls pulled up alongside the row counter. Only complaint is that I have to re-type the yarn and needles I use when I create a project instead of selecting them from a drop down list of my stash.

Of all the knitting apps I’ve tried, this one is the most useful. Keep track of yarn, needles, and projects with pdf or website urls pulled up alongside the row counter. Only complaint is that I have to re-type the yarn and needles I use when I create a project instead of selecting them from a drop down list of my stash.
