Because clean air matters, the lüft mobile app provides you easy access to monitor your Indoor-Air-Quality from anywhere and anytime. A dashboard view gives you access to (6) IAQ sensor readings at once. Traffic light color coding of the sensor readings quickly visualizes elevated or even dangerous readings. The app also provides Indoor Mold Risk and Outdoor Air Quality Risk Indicators for a complete analysis of the air surrounding you.
Because Air-Quality and Radon levels fluctuate based on your home’s ventilation, airflow, and weather conditions the built-in trend charts let you drill down and review short- and long-term fluctuations from a single day to a year. Setup up custom alerts and notifications when thresholds are reached to take actions to improve the air you breathe.
The lüft Mobile app advanced features also allows you to program the integrated Nightlight function to suit the comfort of your home, synchronize temperature with other lüft™ or HVAC, securely share data with Indoor-Air-Quality professional of your choice, and setup to receive daily, weekly, or monthly air-quality summary reports. It further allows to download trend data for even more in-depth analysis when needed.

It complains and fails to work if you don’t allow it to use location services and it requires a restart after you do give access in order for it to connect. It also requires you create an account. It does not allow upgrading the firmware using a Bluetooth connection, only works via 2.4 ghz WiFi. It requires hitting a not so obvious sync icon in order to get the current meter readings. It sets a lot of device settings on first run after creating an account but I could find any way to change these later. The temperature reading is sometimes inaccurate and seems to be off due to the Lüft device heat. It’s hard to find and difficult to set the threshold settings because they’re unusual, not simple, and non-intuitive. I had to enter my WiFi settings multiple times because it doesn’t give any error message when it doesn’t work, it just doesn’t work. The “trick” to get WiFi to work is to restart the app after giving all required location and Bluetooth permissions before entering the WiFi settings. I felt it unnecessarily intrusive on my privacy.

I have two Radon devices in our house. One upstairs and one downstairs. After initial set up, one device will work. After you connect the second one neither device works. Really frustrating and not worth the money if you can’t receive accurate feedback.
App not working?

When you start the app there are some readings, but I doubt they are anywhere reliable (1pCi/l sound too good to be true). When you refresh, all readings are gone. Expensive device, dissapointing experience.

Great device, the App is a complete disaster. Can’t sign up from iPhone. I created a profile with another device.. it randomly disconnects. Now completely stopped working for an undisclosed “error”
