I switched to OKCU from another credit union back in June. I was immediately surprised with how awesome their mobile banking experience was compared with the my previous CU. It includes many features that I didn’t even know you could do with your financial institution through mobile banking. My favorites are linking my other accounts like my credit card to the app so that all my accounts are centralized. As well as tools to calculate debt and where most your money goes. This mobile banking experience is a huge reason why I love OKCU so much. It allows me. Lot of independence with my finances while also being able to have Utica, easy access to help from the CU!

The app isn’t particularly user friendly, but I use it enough to be mostly used to it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I tried to use it to open a CD today and it tells me my email isn’t recognized. I’ve been with this credit union for 30 years. Rant… It used to be the best credit union, with the best employees ever. Now it’s completely different. No one seems to know anything, no one seems interested in actually helping you with anything. It’s all a bunch of patronizing baloney with zero results. I lost my credit card and applied for a new one. It took a very long time to receive the new credit card. When I tried to add the new card to Apple Pay, it won’t accept it. The reason is because this credit union is listed as Oklahoma Employees Credit Union at Apple Pay. The credit card is issued under Oklahoma’s credit Union. In fact, this app is still listed as Oklahoma employees credit union in the App Store. This was their previous name (they’ve had three name changes since I’ve been with them). I spent two hours on the phone with Apple yesterday because the credit union told me it was an apple issue. It’s not, OKCU did not follow through and change their name with Apple. It still hasn’t been resolved and the way this credit union is now, I have doubts that it will be. I ended up using a different credit card on Apple Pay. I’ve opened another account at a different credit union, while I hate to change after being with this one so long, I’m really disappointed in OKCU.

The old app would require password if I checked my account before a deposit hit my account which became a hassle when verifying payments. Now this app does just what I need. The layout is still too big when it is fully loaded so you have to wait to click due to a message that drops every thing down the page about inch. So I accidentally click my savings account instead of my bank account. But the other functionalities are amazing you can do just what you need to and see all that you need to! Thank you aesthetically the CSS is 4/5 the features 5/5

This Credit Union is NOT older customer friendly ! You change the app where we have to learn it all over again which is difficult for some older people that DID NOT grown up with this technology!! When we do learn how to use it you change it again!! The new machine for tellers are insane they are difficult to use. My recommendation for older people is to bring out your old check books blow the dust off of them write things down yes do old school. Don’t use these so called machines get out of the car and go inside!! Make it your business to TALK to someone about YOUR business. Have you notice how these people change? There is never the same person inside why? If you can not keep your people how can you properly keep up with our accounts? Answer- YOU CAN’T!!!!!
