This "simple" MIDI player has many features that more complicated MIDI players lack. The one I found by accident and hardly mentioned in the description was a $5 upgrade option to connect the MIDI output to a compatible Bluetooth device (along apparently with USB MIDI devices too). In my case, I wanted to play MIDIs on my older Yamaha Clavinova CVP-98 with a Yamaha MD-BT01 Bluetooth MIDI interface, and could not find any app to do that until this one, and it works perfectly.The developer is also extremely responsive to questions and suggestions and seems to be actively improving the app and that says a lot. I do wish the app had a playlist feature but the developer is actively working on that for a future version.

I been using this player for a good while now, simply put, it does well at what it’s made for but I have one little issue. I decided to purchase the full version of the app so I can make wav files of my midis… But for some reason whenever I tap the button, the app instantly force closes. Now, I do understand that this is unintentional, but if there’s any way to patch this, and / or any true explanation of a fix if it’s a device issue or whatnot, then it would be greatly appreciated, I really enjoy this app and it has served as a great way to listen to my midi music outside of making standalone mp3 files of them physically.Another minor issue is that the “Choose from files” in the soundfont section fails to bring anything up. So I hope there could be a fix for that as well.

EDIT: The latest version of the app no longer has this issue. Please note that you'll need to upgrade to iOS 15.2 or newer in order to use it.Hi, I have a couple of questions so I can figure out what's going on, since I haven't been able to reproduce this crash on my devices:1. Are you using iOS 14 or 15?2. Does the crash happen when you tap Start, or when you tap the "Export as WAV" option in the menu?3. Could you try pausing playback before starting the export and see if that works?4. Are you using headphones or your device's speakers? If you're using headphones, are they wired or wireless?5. How much free space do you have left on your device? (Having less than 1-2 GB left may cause issues with iOS and apps)Thanks!

Great app to play midi files

This app is great to play Medi files I was able to play midi Files with one click of a button. This does get access to your files though, but not in the way that’s bad but it lets you choose the midi file. This is a great app but if you want, you can also get a subscription for this app at the time right now it’s $4.99 but prices will probably go up because of inflation. Anyway, use this app if you want to play some midi files

Great app to play midi files

Does this support the ability to play through a collection of multiple songs? I see the player has a repeat function but I cannot see how to queue up a number of different songs to play through. Otherwise, hooking up a USB-C adapter cable to connect my iPad Pro to my MIDI device was super simple. Just plug it in and it works. You do have to pay to upgrade the app but that is fair. Once done, MIDI USB is a new option under sound fonts. The name is correct. It is super simple. Nothing too complex nor difficult. A simple player that works well - even when put in the background. Just hoping to find how to play multiple songs in a list. Help?!
